And are the avatars stored in the database or filesystem? |

I can not seem to get it to update. I have it set at daily and even tried to run the cron manually. When I check the logs it says "Not time to update spotlight userid yet"
Any ideas? |

Will it run hourly? |
Quote:
The scheduled task will run every hour and log an entry, so you can check back in a couple hours and read the log to see if it keeps running. |
Few small changes with 1.6.0
Added last post date to the selection criteria and fixed problem with avatar url |
Works perfect. marked as installed :D
Check my forum for demo. :) |
After installing the updated version, the user's avatar isn't showing. Also, I know this has nothing to do with your mod but, I'm using this for Member of the Month and I would like to be able to add a clickable link in the profile field. Do you know how I can do this? My site is, http://www.simming-glimmerstyle.com/forum/forum.php

Thanks. It still shows without the avatar though. Is there something I need to do to refresh it or so?

I wish this was a modular thing at the side as the site is getting a bit long lol

I am having a problem getting the cron to update daily. I have it set to daily in the options and my scheduled task is set to 00 0 * * * Which should be "every day of every month at 0 hour and 0 minutes" But for some reason, it does not update......
Any ideas? |

In the settings what do you have set for the field Spotlight Next Cron Run Also, if you look at the scheduled tasks log, you should see entries in there for the spotlight script |

The avatars are still not showing.

on line 162 replace Code:
$spot_avatar_file = $this->registry->options['homeurl'] . "/" . $this->registry->options['avatarurl'] . "/avatar" . $this->registry->options['dbtech_spotlight_rnd_userid'] . "_" . $rand_user_data['avatarrevision'] . ".gif"; Code:
$spot_avatar_file = $this->registry->options['avatarurl'] . "/avatar" . $this->registry->options['dbtech_spotlight_rnd_userid'] . "_" . $rand_user_data['avatarrevision'] . ".gif"; I was checking out what the vB code does for avatars and I think I'm doing some overkill which is screwing it up for different types of setups. |

http://www.clevelandsportsforums.com/forums/forum.php. I made the change you mention in the quoted post, but it didn't help. Avatars are stored in the file system, and I downloaded the latest version. Help? I'm at a loss... |

http://www.clevelandsportsforums.com...sc/unknown.gif It looks like you have something that sets that as the default if the user doesn't have an avatar? I saw several users that showed that image for the avatar and profile image. The one user I saw that had an avatar looks like it's stored in the db. http://www.clevelandsportsforums.com...647&type=thumb |

I'll make sure the changes are in the next release so it matches the vB type path and we shouldn't run into this problem again :) |

Go to that page and put in the time for tonight at 11:55pm for your servers timezone. It will give you a timestamp. Just put that into the next cron run field. The script will check hourly, but it will not change anything until midnight. |

Sunday, January 9th 2011, 23:55:00 (GMT -5) translates to 1294635300 Does that mean that it will only run on Sunday at 11:55PM? |
OK, now it is not updating. I have the same member up there for 2 days now. Please advise.
Thanks. |

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/01/21.png https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/01/22.png In Log: No user met the criteria, user not updated, set next runtime to 1294664338 |
It works fine at my end.
No bug in the system |

I made an update with 1.6.2
Hopefully fixed the avatar issues with the different installation layouts Fixed bbcode not parsing on custom fields Switched code to use existing data so was able to eliminate all but 2 custom db queries, should be better on performance now. |
