please help me fix these bugs.

I started my tests to this release and found the following bugs currently:
1- All Forum Overrides are missed and deleted when I upgrade vbc from 1.4c to v2.0 :(
2- I have very customized skin and no choice to edit templates manually as in version 1.5. please add an option to stop auto edits or at least 2 xml files as 1.5 version

Same here, I confirmed the mentioned bugs
Suggestion: Can we talk directly to developers? they can use ur membership I think, cuz u have a holiday now and talking to developers will make no gaps and things will be sorted out faster

I setup a forum on vbc for posting bug questions, my lead developer for 3.8.x said he'd be looking into fixing all current bugs today.

The system is pretty secure, we're working on improve query loads as well, I don't like saying a system is 100% secure as nothing is ever 100% perfect.

But as for vbulletin 3.8.6 we run that version now on our site. We have a number of developers working on new features and updates.

vb 3.8.4 - i just updated from 1.4 to 2.0.0 gold whatever.... i removed all template edits from 1.4 n installed but no autotemplate edits appeared. the irritating finding is that my donation bar , inferno shout , enhanced reputation and many mod display from footer etc disappeared. i reimported those without any effect....

what the caused those to disappear

EDIT : i had to add "define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);" t config.php earlier to install vbcredits 2.0.0 . i removed it all back working..

but i uninstalled vbcredits without knowing it all credits gone back 0 ...damn it... is there any chance to get them back??

Eeek for some reason my credits.php?do=manage and credits.php?do=banking pages won't show up - as in broken links, the pages don't exist. Could this be a simple mistake of not uploading the files to the correct place? Or something deeper?

I'll look into it, currently in the process of moving so my online time at the moment has been limited. We've (vbcredits coding team) got v2.0.1 coming in the next week or so that should fix a lot of issues. I'll be testing over at vbcredits.com before I upload here.

back again.. i'm getting this ajax error on navbar as shown below.. i'm sure its from ajax credit update call causing it b'cause error is replacing the credits on navbar . i had similar error with vmoods[sniper's] mod on navbar while changing mood status[ just that line 119 was 308]...i tried many trouble shooting suggested for ajax error .nothing fixed...

Two Separate Systems

When I go to "check credits" all I'm seeing is "checking = x" not the combined total, or the "savings = x checking = x" combo? I just moved from the 1.4x version and im testing this one on a development site. This is a newly deployed style (default) so there shouldn't be any conflict of old vbcredits changes in there.

any ideas?

nevermind, I got this to work as I had it in the previous version... not sure if I modified it or if it used to come this way...

This phrase was gone:

credits_bankamounts

and the queries to match inside credits.php were as well.

I've put them back and it works as I had before, so I'm happy :) - not sure if its supposed to work without this, but it didnt.

no worries, The programmer I have working on this mod has been making changes and updates. I'm currently not up to speed on all the changes yet so glad to hear you guy things sorted out.

Pixel, any idea when you'll have something basic for vb4? its currently the only thing preventing me from upgrading. lol. I honestly only use a couple of features of it, the paycheck daily piece--and there's another couple parts I use, but not sure if they came from the free piece or the vbcredit$ addon.

The back end has been done for a month or so, however the programmer I have working on it is finishing up front end code, then we'll release beta. I'll post more new at www.vbcredits.com once its ready till then feel free to pm me here.

what happened to the negative currency for inactivity... i didnt see that option which was there in old vbcredits

For some reason, all credit stats are showing twice. In the user control panel, there are two boxes with 'Donations and Drawings' and 'Banking and Loans' links, and in the user stats there are two lines showing the user's credits. :confused:

u have to remove old code from previous version [manually added] as says in instructions, if u have upgraded.... this version has autotemplate edits... by the way how did u become a coder?

I haven't upgraded as this was a clean install. I became a 'coder' as I uploaded some minor template edits for vB.

weird vbcredits.com has disappeared, the vb3.pixelfx.ca site attempts to tell you to go to vbcredits and those of us who spent lots of money on your products in the past are left with nothing.

Does this credits system work with modifications released by the dragon-tech team?

We're in the process of setting up better support for all our products and services, We had to make an update to the DNS settings on our server, which cause the site to appear off line. This has been resolved now.

My new members aren't receiving the initiation credit. I have email confirmation turned off for registration.

Also, is there a way to turn off the loans/banking part?

Me too, new user doesn't get Induction Credit (100 by default).

We're currently setting up better way to support clients and members, sorry for the delay on the main site. Lots of work is being done behind the scenes.

Just a note that we're currently working on updates to this system, and related systems. This is a note to say we're very much alive. And will be working on updates for both 3.8.x and 4.1.x with more news in coming weeks. Till then we wish you all happy and save holidays.

I'm having a problem removing this mod, as we no longer use it.

I remove it via the usual plugin manager/uninstall.

But then I start getting database emails when a guest/bot views misc.php?do=whoposted pages.

This is the error that comes back..

Invalid SQL:
SELECT * FROM credits_lottery;

MySQL Error : Table 'xxx_xxx.credits_lottery' doesn't exist

I can't find any mention of it in the templates/style, so I'm a tad confused as to why it's looking for the lottery table

Small Note: all our systems including vbcommerce and vbcredits currently being rewritten, we hope everyone's had a safe holiday in the meantime. We'll have a new site and demo site running in the coming weeks, at which point we'll post more information here with upgrade info.

Is it possible to limit the dates for which credits are counted? For example only actions taken after Jan 1, 2011 will be added to user's accounts, and actions before will not be added?

Will this allow high scores from ibproarcade to earn credits?

Robert is still supporting vbcredits here on the thread, but the site (vbcredits.com) is going through some changes from what I know. So, we'll wait for an update :)

Thinking the same here too.

Not sure what the fight and all is about.

But, this version of vBCredits is looking dead, while the other by Dark seems to be well supported so far.
