Works just fine on 4.1. Maybe you should uninstall and reinstall it.

bulldog51981 12-25-2010 02:53 AM

Not working here

4.1.0PL2

Installed, set force read thread, shows on list just fine, no force read msg on forum. Not in the thread when I create the "force read". Anyone?

Mist Viper 12-27-2010 02:47 AM

Hi, I have VB 4.1 PL2 installed, and have no idea where to set which thread users need to read.

mitch84 12-27-2010 04:35 AM

1- you create a topic, post it and after look the adress and the number 'http://www.XXX/showthread.php?23763

now goto acp> threads & posts=> force read thread
create a new thread and in Thread ID insert 23763
set others fills;)

It works fine technically, but it shows as if the archive was active and not the default template. After clicking on "here" to see the thread the template is normal again. On occasion the "bug" does not appear and i see the message "The administrators want you to view a thread before you continue to browse the forum. You can view the thread here.." in my normal template. But mostly it looks like this (see attachment):

DAMINK 01-03-2011 10:53 PM

Dirks 01-11-2011 03:11 AM

Hey guys, how do you change the message that appears on the notification page?

Thanks,

Dirks

horussjr 01-15-2011 07:01 PM

go to admincp -> languages & phrases -> search in phrases -> write in the box the administrators want you to and enter. and it gives you the message

Using it on 4.1.1 and wqrks fine

Any ideas?

This is a great tool. It seems like when I post an announcement or notice people don't see it. They don't have any choice with this.
Thank you.

Yes, I confirm this mod works on 4.1.3 suite.

AWESOME mod!

Just make sure you FTP the required files to the correct directories...

... THEN ONLY add the Product XML via Plugins & Products > Manage Products > Add/Import Product

EasyEazy 05-09-2011 04:42 AM
