Can Skimlinks and Viglinks work together?

No, you must use one or the other.

Both plugins do the same thing and would conflict if enabled simultaneously.

Is this program pay for affiliated clicks, because I got 121 affiliated clicks and earn nothing.

I just wonder how to earn to money. Have anyone here earn money from this problem yet?

Sometimes it's clicks, sometimes it's purchases. And it may take a few days for the earnings to show up on the dashboard.

2 Questions:

1> Will this cover old links that were posted prior to installing viglinks?
2> Does it change the url? As the amazon links I've just checked all look like the originals, no affiliate id or anything like that.

Answers:

1. It will. Each link is affiliated on-the-fly, so instantly your entire site's links are affiliated.
2. Not visibly. You or your users won't even see it. You'll only know it's running since you'll see clickthroughs and revenue on the dashboard.

This slows down my site as the script calls the viglink site and has to wait a long time for api.viglink.com to answer. I hope this is just a hiccup and not the normal reaction time. Otherwise I will need to uninstall this.

OMG got my first payment today. Not that I am getting over exited but just logged into my stats. I totally forgot after signing up for viglink but today when I looked I was shocked.

My site gets ~1.2k uniques a day. For that traffic I am getting some money:D

I just clicked an Amazon link on the example page you gave in Firefox 4 and it did affiliate. Can you tell me the link text of the link you are clicking that you expect to affiliate that isn't working?

Actually, I don't doubt the numbers. I get almost as much via viglink as I do via adsense. When something works, it just works.

didnt know affiliate links are not allowed, but wanted only to share my experience. apology if I hurt anyone with it;)

I tried Skimlinks for a month and my earnings were MUCH better with Driving Revenue. I am now back solid on Driving Revenue.

Running vB 3.8x and installed the product. Hope all is working well and we start seeing some results.

Will we see click throughs realtime or is there a delay in the results?

I've been using it since it was driving revenue. I didn't see my links change so I initially thought it wasn't doing anything. Then once they changed to viglink and I logged into the dashboard, I saw that there was revenue coming in, but wasn't being paid because of the minimum before the payout. Viglink doesn't have a minimum anymore, so I get the payments each month.

A ratio of uniques to revenue isn't really possible since that varies widely based on your type of traffic and links already on your site. But I can say this much, I'm making almost as much with viglink as I am with adsense each week. And viglink isn't intrusive at all compared to adsense.

There's a bit of a delay, but not much. You can see the previous week pretty accurately.

I installed this on 3.8.1 for two seperate vbulletin installs but the admincp did not update to reflect a spot in the sidebar to configure the product. I am unsure if it is an issue with the particular version or what the problem is. Please advise :)

With limited use, we have seen already about 20-25% of our daily adsense total achieved through Viglink :up:

It depends on how you use it. I've been picking up a little extra revenue here and there which is supplementing my Adsense, text link and banner ad income. So, every little bit helps :up:

I'm just installing this now to see how it goes, adsense kicked out my site for some reason they can't explain to me becasue of their security policy so this will hopefully be a good replacement.

Installed, I'm just curious to know how many sites based in the UK are using viglink?

This looked promising but then they asked me to fill in some tax form I've never seen anywhere before and don't know how to fill in, so no thanks.

Is this is official viglink platform? I signed on with Driving Revenue and was very happy with them as they jumped to be my #3 revenue source ... so far not working with viglink and revenue is down 90%. I hope this version plug-in will fix everything.

I am seeing the same thing here since my account has been moved from Driving Revenue to Viglink, my earnings have gone down.

But they are still better then what I was getting for when I tried Skimlinks.

To save folks from reading through several pages of posts and/or make this mod easier to find, I would suggest the coder: 1)Add a similar mod for the vb v3 section of vB.org or, 2)State the fact that this version works with vB v3 in the mod description.

Personally I never look at the vB v4 section on vB.org, because I don't run it and so few mods are backwards compatible with v3. I only arrived here thanks to an external link from the VigLink website.

Suggestion: It would be nice if this MOD allowed the Admin to pick the VigLink Badge to display, as well as it's location, on their pages from the http://www.viglink.com/policies/ftc page, or similar.
