I like how it says 'supported' on this mod yet the creator doesn't support it or respond to his users. Either in this thread or via private message. That really bums me out.

At least answer us, Valter.

Hello this is something great that I've been looking for for a while now.

I have an issue though with the mod.

When I "bump" a thread, it works to bring it to the top (great), but no matter what the thread is always "new". Even if I click on it, the thread will still continue to show as "new" and will remained highlighted even after read numerous times.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Having the same issue. Valter, are you going to fix this?

addamroy 01-30-2012 04:51 PM

I'm pretty sure valter has abandoned this mod. I think the status should be changed from 'supported' to 'not supported'

I found though that to fix this manually, simply bump the thread twice instead of once, then de-bump it and it is no longer highlighted as new.

not working in 4.1.11 :(

clauz 04-25-2012 06:12 AM

Anyone know another mod that do the same as this one? And maybe users can bump their own threads?

Syxguns 05-30-2012 11:07 PM

I loved this mod, I hope it is updated for vB 4.2 soon!!:(

Valter 05-31-2012 09:17 AM

I don't know what are you talking about.

It's fully compatible with vBulletin 4.2.

Hi valter, when i bump a thread, it doesn't show anymore on the last post. The thread will be bumped only inside the forum, but when you go back to the forum home, you dont see it on the last post anymore

Running vb 4.2

Yes, you are correct. My bad! It didn't seem to work at first, but after the server refreshed all was good.
Thanks Valter!

Nice mod, would give 5 stars if regular users could bump their own threads once every xx hours..

Unfortunatelly I was waiting too for a mod who can do this...

THX!
Work with 4.2.0 PL2
No problems!

When use "Bump", threads are mark as "unread" or "new".
If you "De-Bump" same Thread again, the mark is closed, but the threads are on top!
perfect!

lazytown 12-16-2012 05:46 AM

Same bug.. On 4.2, once you bump a thread with this, it will forever stay as "NEW" and bolded in the forum. Yes you can de-bump it, but then it will go back down even further than it was depending on how old the thread is and your settings. Had to turn it off even though I would really like to use it.

bestfirearmdeal 06-21-2013 07:51 PM

Can this be set for users and user groups or is it just limited to be used by an ADMIN?

mitch84 03-26-2014 04:21 PM

don't work with 4.2.0pl4, aupdate is possible? thx

Mr. Burns 04-05-2014 12:05 AM

Doesn't seem to work with Chrome but it's ok with Firefox. Is this just me?

Ghettoracingkid 06-28-2014 03:21 PM

im getting an error when I am trying to install it.

XML Error: Not well-formed (invalid token) at Line 3

any help or advice.

It has been 2 years since Valter was online here, so most likely he won't be back to provide support. :)
