When can we expect the new version that works with the CMS?

Alecsmith 05-13-2010 06:07 AM

Working perfectly thanks :)

LHCGreg 05-14-2010 01:49 AM

Resizing does not happen in post preview mode. Also, it would be great if you could choose the resize threshold separately for images in signatures. Otherwise, great mod.

KURTZ 05-30-2010 01:08 PM

I for one would not like it centered by default.

If you want the image centered, put center tags around it.

  1. Insert image using any method you like.
  2. Highlight image.
  3. Click on center icon in edit bar above edit box.
There may well be others who would like the OPTION of having images centered by default. I'm just saying that I would personally NOT like that as the only option.

i know this mate, i'm wondering about if we can do this with some edits into the plug-in ... :)

djbaxter 05-30-2010 02:43 PM

Oh.

I would start by trying various edits to the template: sevenskins_imageresizer

Big C 05-31-2010 03:21 AM

Works great!! Thanks!

Marked as installed

Kolbi 06-01-2010 02:07 PM

Why is the clientscript file not compressed?

samuelflo 06-02-2010 08:41 PM

Works great. Looking forward to one that will do the Albums...that would be awesome. I love how simple this is.

Installed, and nominated.

BlackHoster 06-19-2010 09:16 AM

Not working with 4.4 thank you :)

graham_w 06-19-2010 11:00 AM

Yep confirmed not working with 4.0.4 - seems vbulletin have introduced their own image resizer through stylevars and stuffed up all of the plugin versions. Hope you can help with this!

where's the option for the resizer onto the 4.0.4? i can't find it ...

graham_w 06-19-2010 11:22 AM

Its in Stylevars

postbit_content_max_image_width

I set it to 50% so the images from external sites that are displayed are never larger than 50% of the viewers post area - but would prefer to use this mod to control the height also.

yes absolutely ...

Mrdby 06-19-2010 12:39 PM

works GREAT!

pant 06-19-2010 12:43 PM

Is this mod needed any more after the release of 4.04, apparently there is a stylevar we can modify which will do the same thing as this out of the box?

meschiash 06-19-2010 04:42 PM

Doesn't work on 4.0.4 :(

just checked... this doesn't works for the blogs ...

robbiefritz 06-20-2010 10:15 AM

Just upgraded to 4.04. Resizing stopped working. Could you look into this please? Really like this hack! Thanks.

As posted by Graham, you can turn this mod off now and instead use your stylevar to modify the pictures by default.

AdminCP > styles & templates > style manager > stylevars

postbit_content_max_image_width

I personally don't like the inbuilt vbulletin option.

It doesn't allow you to specify a max height, also you cannot click to see the full image.

Give me this mod over the vbulletin option anytime.

No it doesn't. :( Maybe need to remove the reference to the new vbulletin option in the css which may restore functionality to this mod ? I will have a play a bit later.

graham_w 06-21-2010 01:16 AM

Scrap that - I removed some code from the postbit.css and the mod now works on the blogs but not in posts ... still looking for a solution.

graham_w 06-21-2010 02:12 AM

Well I have to leave for the afternoon, but I have so far found that removing the following code from postbit.css will stop the inbuilt vbulletin resizer from working, and allows this mod to work again - but it only appears to work in the blogs and not in the posts. I'm using postbit legacy, but perhaps someone can confirm it doesn't work in postbit also ? There must be something i'm missing - anyone have any ideas?

Code:

.postbit .content img, .postbitlegacy .content img, .postbitdeleted .content img, .postbitignored .content img, .eventbit .content img {
        max-width: {vb:stylevar postbit_content_max_image_width};
        _width: expression(document.body.clientWidth > {vb:stylevar postbit_content_max_image_width.Size}? "{vb:stylevar postbit_content_max_image_width}": "auto" );
}

graham_w 06-21-2010 07:36 PM

Yep - controlled by Stylevars

postbit_content_max_image_width

But it doesnt resize blog, only post images.

Alex@Mk3OC 06-21-2010 08:55 PM

Fixed this in 4.0.4

I removed the following code from postbit.css:

Code:

.postbit .content img, .postbitlegacy .content img, .postbitdeleted .content img, .postbitignored .content img, .eventbit .content img {
        max-width: {vb:stylevar postbit_content_max_image_width};
        _width: expression(document.body.clientWidth > {vb:stylevar postbit_content_max_image_width.Size}? "{vb:stylevar postbit_content_max_image_width}": "auto" );
}

The re-installed the product xml file and it works again :)
