OK i have installed it and am looking it over , first i haven't read one bit of documentation

with that said, it looks to me that you would need to change the depth of subthreads in admincp,settings/options/forumdisplay. first to what ever you want the depth to be.

1 2 3 levels or more then match those to the hacks capabilitys.

then let look over this css

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 11:25 AM

seems to be working

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 11:32 AM

ok it works heres what it looks like with level set to 3
one main forum , the 2 child forums off main, then 2 child forums off mains child forum

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 11:44 AM

1 Attachment(s)
so it could be a couple of things , forumdisply in admincp set to 2 2 3
for this test

the setting for coulmns in the hack is set at 2

and heres a pic of my forum layout in main and children their children

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 11:47 AM

and if you want the pics changed its here /images/statusicon/subforum_old-48.png

Could you show me your VSa - Sub-Forum Manager box thing please so i can your options and whats the capital of USA for your random question on http://hillbillygold.com/forums/ Im from United Kingdom and thought it was Washiton DC

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 11:55 AM

lol just washington i better fix that

unm ok its your in admincp the best setting will be
2
0
3

for the hack everything is standard so dont need to change anything

I think what your problem is that your forums are setup with single child forums instead forums of forums forums :>

can you posta screen of your admincp forums and threads showing your forum structure?

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 11:58 AM

so what i did to get that effect was i made a forum , then i added a child you can move any forum already made into this position

the i made a child forum off of that child forum look at the pic i posted of the forum structure

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 12:00 PM

test 1 is a child of the main forum but test 2 is a child forum of test 1
and test 3 is a child of main forum and test 4 is a child forum of test 3

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 12:05 PM

ok now the differance in the setup i decribed and the children all being off one main forum is shown here . see that little link icon in front of hunting and fishing

much cleaner setup i think in the above structure

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 12:06 PM

see no links like that here https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...5&d=1275222660

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 12:15 PM

i see your deal, your forums arnt deep enough for this hack to do anything really

you have 1 level of sub forum so let me play with that sec

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 12:17 PM

yep you need your forumdisplay to be 1
1

0

3

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 12:24 PM

lol my css is messing it up i havent found the right table

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 12:25 PM

-To get this product working you must set "Depth of Sub-Forums" to "1" in vBulletin Options > Forum Listings Display Options
-To set product options go to: AdminCP > vBulletin Options > VSa - Sub-Forum Manager

lol should have read the directions

Ok thank you that worked on the main one but i dont want it to display the Sub Sub ones how can we prevent it.

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 12:30 PM

its in the forumdisplay area in admincp so now you have
1
0
3?

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 12:32 PM

leave 1 alone and play with those
0 - 3 numbers

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 12:38 PM

are those sub subs because they shouldnt show below that level that you have set . if they are just unwanted but the same depth you will have to move them to a sub level to hide them

your24hourstore 05-30-2010 12:39 PM

oh by the way i like it im going to use it marked as installed and nominated :>

How to increase the space between two forums in horizontal direction?

Nosfer@tu 06-23-2010 12:27 PM

Briliant :D

And why this is not a standard in vb I dont know :)

Only problem I have is that some subforums have a longer name and more posts than others.

Only 1 or 2 subforums where its a problem, I have lots of space to the rigth, so they can be allowed to use more space. Have not looked yet, but THX ALOT for this product sir.

In Vsa SubForum Manager options add the following code to the "CSS 2" text field.

Code:

padding-right:25px;
The value in red can be set to what ever you desire.

Alucard^ 07-16-2010 12:32 PM

One question, i can change the color of the links of subforums with this mod? i tried in the CSS 2 with "color:red;" for example, but doesn't work, work only in CSS 3 (threads/posts count).

Or i have to change this in vbulletin?
