Yeah, this mod has a few quirks. I learned that if you specify a really long page title in the custom page manager that it actually screws up the manager layout to the point that you cannot use the custom page manager any more.

I learned the hard way to just specify a very short title and page content. Then I change the "custompage" segment that it created in my style to whatever title and content I want.

So I use the manager to create the page then I change the code of the page by searching for "custompage" in my styles. Another messy workaround.

All I want to do is either add the title to the tab or remove the tab altogether. I can always add the tab back later. I just hate a blank tab.

If you search in your style for the title of one of your other tabs like "What's New" then you will find the code that places each tab on the nav bar. You should then see one of the entries that have a blank title.

I scanned through the navbar template on one of my styles and did find that, but not the one that I was looking for. I did a search also and no return.

I found the problem after a extensive search for the product that I had installed to add the tabs in the first place. Re-installed it and am now good to go.

I installed this and the Custom Page tab doesn't appear on my control panel. How do I get the custom page tab to appear in the control panel?

I've been playing around with this mod for a few days and am able to create new pages with a few workarounds. If you check my post dated 5/26/12 you will see the steps I took to get things working.

Be very careful to not add long titles to the new pages when first adding the new pages using the mod manager because for some reason long titles really messes up the mod manager and you will not be able to use it again without uninstalling and reinstalling it.

Once you create the new pages you can change the code in the "custompage" section of your style.

Did you activate the imported product? Check the very top of your admincp options. For some reason it shows up there on my admincp display

The ability to add php in the custom page/s has been added in the premium version.

I install this mod and looks super but one problem i am facing is why the "Manage Custom page" page is not showing in my acp menu? Is that only available in premium version? if so how can i get that ver?

On mine it shows up as the very first option at the upper left and is called "Unlimited Custom Pages"

What's the difference between the free and paid versions? I've tried going to the link to check out the pro version for days now but all I get is ...

The free one lets you add a single page and the paid one is unlimited.

The paid version is still available. I had my forum closed for a few days. Now it is opened again.

After reading this thread, I decided to contact the author about the program and purchased it. I am running vBulletin 4.2 and the paid version works perfectly. I haven't tried the long names or anything like was mentioned above, but it has the basic functionality that I wanted and it works as advertised.

I have one suggestion. Could you make it to where the Navigation Tab is optional? I wanted to add a page to the subnav menu instead, and I like to have pages that aren't on the top navigation bar.

If this is possible, please let me know because I haven't looked into the source yet.

Nice mod, but I have an issue.

I don't want a link to the page in the navbar. I left the "custom page link" field blank and it still puts a button on the navbar, but without a title.

Can you implement a button so we don't have to have it on the navbar.

Also, any way of changing the .php file name and adding meta info specific to that page?

Edit: Also, when I disable the hack the empty button remains in the navbar. I can't get rid of it without uninstalling the plugin.

in admincp Styles & Templates>Search In Templates> then search for "custompages". The code you're looking for is in the custompages template in each of your styles (if you're using more than 1 style)
