I am not sure what you mean "looking like poet". The thread seems normal to me. Perhaps a screenshot highlighting your issue would be better.

I believe you looking for the stylevars forumicon_size which is currently set at 16 px. Just adjust that to your preferences.

Notice: 4.0.1 has been released. Please expect a style update (for all TalkTemplate skins) within a week.

Edit forumicon_size in Style Variable Editor.

joker2040 01-13-2010 02:01 AM

lol... guess I was a little slow on the typing.

I appreciate it. The forum link to talktemplate.com is working now if you are still interested in joining.

my problem fixed by http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...=1#post1902931 this post.

tazattitude 01-13-2010 09:52 AM

Thanks Impulse for the great skin! My favorite!

I noticed that alot of people complained about the white text edit background/light gray text on the post thread forum in IE, but looks fine in FF. I think alot of people missed the comment about clicking on the A/A icon on the form to show the "correct" background color.

Wouldn't this be a Vbulletin bug rather than something that can be changed in the stylevars?

I love the template, but I can't really use until it's corrected as most won't know, or don't bother to click on the A/A button

Thank you!

Yes, we intend to fix the text edit problem in the next release (this week). vBulletin has not added this to the stylevars so we will have to make necessary css adjustments.

Please stay tuned for updates or mark as installed and we will send you an update once it is available.

Its better to do right now. Before people get messed up with that banner. Most of them arnt making a new clean banner, or use that banner for new config to there site.

We will be releasing our update soon. For the sake of ease, we will make the edit in the next release.

I don't know if the problem with textbox is solved (as for example title in new thread).

I have fixed used a temporary solution:
Template -> editor.css
added this at the end of the code:
Code:

.textbox {
        color:#6E6E6E;
}

This is only a temporary solution, waiting for the fix.

Muggz562 01-15-2010 09:14 PM

I installed this on my vB 4.0.1. it seems to work fine.

We are testing this across multiple browsers, firefox, IE 8, IE 7, IE 6, chrome, safari, and opera. Unfortunately, there are no stylevars for the editor.css so we will have to make css edits for this update.

TalkTemplate 01-17-2010 04:28 AM

Updated the skin. Please post any odd occurrences. Thanks for the support.

You can create your own image (png or gif), then upload it as a different name.
Then you can change the path to the image in your StyleVar
Imagepaths >>>> titleimage

tazattitude 01-17-2010 11:22 AM

I uploaded the new Darkvision. The only problem I previously had was the background on the post and reply form (showed white in IE), but I changed that myself.
I added a .wysiwyg style in the css file.
I overwrote the original file and this seems to be correct.

One thing I was surprised I didn't see changed was the background on the categories.
Figured this would have been changed to a darker color.

Still my favorite skin so far though!!!!

Stellavision 01-17-2010 01:41 PM

I just deleted the style then re uploaded the xml file to install the updated version but now the header / logo are not showing.
Any ideas?

Stellavision 01-17-2010 02:15 PM

I figured it out. The path to the banner refers to a jpg rather than a png as it does in the previous xml.

Yes, its under the stylevars 'titleimage'.

The categories were meant to be that color.
If you prefer it darker, i have uploaded a darker version.

tazattitude 01-17-2010 04:22 PM

I appreciate you changing that...I think you might be right though.
The lighter color background stands out and looks a little better!

This is officially the "Top 4.0 Style"! (According to the statistics on the first page on vbulletin.org)

Thanks for all your support!

Well deserving! Congrats.

I believe there might have been a change that made the header login fields very dark (almost black) versus the previous. You can't see what you are typing in the username and password.

I see what you mean. Since its quite minor, it can wait till our next update. (users hate having to reupload countless times).

Stellavision 01-17-2010 08:24 PM

Agreed that the user login fields are pretty hard to read.
Black text on dark grey is not ideal.

Yeah, I'm getting complaints on my site aswell about it being hard to read. And also the image uploader, most of the text is hard to read.

Deimos 01-17-2010 09:19 PM

Thanks for the update
Still getting the problem where posts are cut in half. (It's like wordwrap is kicking in half way across the post, rather than the full length)

So far your bug seems to be unique. Is there any chance there is a mod that is making this error occur?

This is a known bug of the last vb 4.0. release. You can check it here : bug

Very nice style, by the way. Congrats to the designer, very nice work. Bye.

Lestat78 01-18-2010 01:04 PM

Very nice style!

Is it possible to make the Login-Area and the Editor-Area brighter?

Login-Area:
It's not possible for users to see where they have to click for Loginname and Password and the inputfontcolor seems to be the same like the backgroundcolor.

Editor-Area:
It's nearly impossible to see the Editor-Icons (Bold, Italic, ...) because the Backcolor is too dark.

Sorry for my bad english. I hope you understand what I mean.

pozo 01-18-2010 01:08 PM

Very nice style!

But unfortunately I can't see any poll bars..
Can somebody confirm this?

By the way... it would be very nice if you could fix the editor problem :) (dark buttons on dark background)

Go into your language and exchange the dot and the point at the end of the side. (number representation)

kiyagi 01-18-2010 02:56 PM

It seems that the background of the comment entry area is very dark, and is making the icons hard to see. Is there a way for me to change that to a lighter grey color like the "Sections" background is?

TalkTemplate 01-18-2010 03:15 PM

Thanks for the comments.

Currently working on fixing the dark login text and creating new editor buttons that are more easily viewed.

Lestat78 01-18-2010 03:48 PM

is it possible to get the banner.jpg without the TalkTemplate-writing?
