Paul, after the upgrade to 4.0.1 the auto login is not functioning. Are you seeing this?

I noticed this on mine too. Clicking the chat gives a popup saying "incorrect username or password". Then it briefly shows the "loading sounds/etc" message, then brings up a login box which nothing can be typed in.

From a quick test, yes, I appear to have the same issue.

This is the second thing that 4.0.1 appears to have broken.

Then you probably havent actually installed Flashchat.

Just to confirm, vBulletin 4.0.1 has completely broken automatic login to Flashchat - I know what this issue is now (a small, but fundemental change). I will be uploading an updated Integration soon.

Sometimes users plus admin are unable to see who is in the chat room and that invisible person message appears as [undefined] username.

plus, while performing private chat, username doesnt show up...

and users and admin are unable to change the room by right room list.

please advise.

Tafreeh, try going into FlashChat outside of the integration. If it still happens then it is a FlashChat issue. If it doesn't, then it probably still is a FlashChat issue.. but you might look around and see what is unique about your installation.

FlashChat still needs some work, but the modification from Paul M (and the admin one from Mosh) work great. All of the other errors that I have are due to FlashChat itself.

Once I installed the latest version of this integration mod (so it'd be compatible with vB 4.0.1), the usergroup settings in the adminCP no longer have an option for chat settings. Certain usergroups that were able to get into the chat a few days ago are now being denied access. Anyone else having this issue?

Regarding the flickering, I had that happen with the regular FlashChat install, so I am guessing it is not with the integration but FlashChat 6.0.6 itself.

I am guessing it is possibly an issue with Flash and FlashChat.

Some of my members has luck with clearing out the Flash cache (in addition to browser cache and cookies.) But not all.

1st of all thank you for this hack. But.... Theres always a but :)

I have installed Flashchat to my test board and it is accessible from wxw.myforum.com/chat/flashchat.php# all works fine apart from the autologin.
I have installed this product and now I have the permissions section and it auto adds the link to the dropdown list.
All is good untill I click on the link to take me to wxw.myforum.com/misc.php?do=flashchat and all I get is a site map list of links.

I have also installed the admin intergration mod and that seems to work fine. its just the wxw.myforum.com/misc.php?do=flashchat that doesn't want to play ball.

Can someone tell me what I have missed?

No, this has no links with the CMS.

No, that error suggests you have not actually installed Flashchat.

Im a bit confused, what exactly is your issue ?

When i click on the Flashchat link in the community drop down list all I get is a page that looks like a sitemap What i dont get is a chat box on a vb page. hope that makes sense.

It is on my test board but i can open it up for a min for you to look HERE

Ok I have just been having a play and it turns out that
/misc.php?do=showsmilies
doesn't work on my site either! so it may not be a problem with the install of this product looks like something to do with the misc.php not working properly.

Ok Sorry Paul it turns out that "Vbadvanced" is to blame. I disabled it and my "misc.php" pages work fine including the flashchat one. I guess I will have to go and find out how to sort that one.
