Would it be possible to add eBay? I know it's not technically a social network, but really, neither is YouTube. It would be nice to have all links to external user pages/networks in one place.

For the entry fields, the amount of characters allowed is too short. Could that be extended please?

You might be firstname.surname on Linked in but if there's more than one on a social network with the same name then you get code added on to the end so your profile becomes firstname.surname/51/k08 - and that won't fit in the field!!! It's a problem too if you have an unusually long name.

If the dev isn't around, could anyone point to where I can extend the allowed characters in the field?

Installed it. It displayed everywhere apart from postbit. Followed instructions to try to fix that with no joy so have uninstalled it.

shows not up in postbit legacy

same doesn't show in postbits :/ had to uninstall it.

Can anyone fix this mod so that it starts showing up in Postbit too? Already have members filled the fields so don't want to uninstall it and ask them again to fill it on a new system.

Using custom styles. But I have tried checking it on Default vb style as well. It doesn't work on that too. Using vbulletin 3.8.1.

One more suggestion, your plugin asks for facebook id. Not everyone has a vanity url enabled on facebook so the id they enter would generate an invalid link. Either your plugin should provide some extra information so that those who don't know about the vanity url gets some info and enter only the valid id or your plugin should support both the profile urls. Please look into this as well.

It says import 'installation file' - I don't see any file that says 'installation..

I installed it and they will not show up with the IM icons in posts. I am using the defult style of 3.8. it shows up just fine if you go to my profile though with the icons.. I tried it with the class="info" and without

Now the Facebook Profile ID doesn't work for us either. Have added the numbers for profile id but when clicking on the link it opens up an error page - any ideas?

I too couldn't get the icons to display in postbit or postbit_legacy. Looked at the code and it looks like there is a "global $vbulletin;" missing at the beginning of the User Social Networking Fields: PostBit Display Complete (postbit_display_complete) plugin. If you go to the plugin manager and click on that plugin and then add this as the first line:

global $vbulletin;

it will now display the icons in the postbit. I run postbit legacy so I also had to add class="info" in the options as well for it to appear in postbit_legacy.

Spoke too soon - now I have the problem of when clicking on a member's Facebook link it comes back with an error. I'm using the Facebook profile id numbers at the end of the profile image, that should be correct yes?

EDIT - Have fixed the issue now as have added - profile.php?id= - to Facebook link in settings.

They need to create a username at fb to link to it. Pull down the account menu on the far upper right to account settings, then the 2nd item down will be username - assign a username there (if there isn't already one) and then use that name on this plugin for facebook and it'll work.

Installed and then quickly uninstalled again. Might reinstall when the mod is actually finished.

well, i uninstalled it. Its not working correctly and i have no clue how to fix it. Anyways, i hope they fix this soon.

Please help with this. The entry fields only allow for 20 characters. This is NOT enough for most people. Simply entering the FB ID# won't work anymore. You have to enter "profile.php?id=100001242082133" and there's not enough space for that. If you don't have a name, or if you DO have a name and it's longer than 20 characters, you're basically screwed. Please post a fix for this. Thanks. :)

WARNING: if you do this, then if someone enters their username, the link won't work. You can only do one or the other. Facebook must have changed something on their end. This is going to kill a lot of the links that vBulletin users have already setup under their userCP. This issue needs to be addressed as well. Thanks.
