BioFall, the easiest way to do this, is to setup a special usergroup for trusted traders, then for that group, give them a custom HTML markup (an image)
That way it displays on all their posts etc.

I did a few more tests on my past problem, and I figured out I did upload every file in the correct place. I tried renaming the file "itrader.php?", to see if it would use the appropriate 404, and it did.

And when I keep the file name as "itrader.php" in the root*/forums/, it gives me the 500 error.

Ok, got an issue. I think it is a bug with the PHP version

we were running VB and Itrader fine until the forum was handed over to a new owner. Then we had to move the files over to a new account on the same host.

Original server was running PHP 5.2.9 <-- Everything worked fine

New account on a new server/same host running PHP 5.2.12 <-- Both Itrader and Links @ downloads mods broke.

Wonder if anyone can help me out here, ive installed itader but im having some problems, whenever i try view a users profile i ge an error message, and when i click on anything to do with itader i get a 404 not found message??

I've installed and uninstall this about 5 times now and this the problems I'm having.
None of the templates/pages are showing up, the feedback score is showing in the profile buts thats about it. Where do you submit this info?
Am I missing something?

I did have some problems (like above). I wasn't aware you have to not only turn it on and config it in vBulletin options, but you also have to go into each user group and allow permissions.

Not sure if this was made clear or not. I may have just not read well.

OK, I've upgraded to iTrader 2.5.0 from 2.0.1 and there were no issues. This mod works for 3.6.x. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this;

I'm trying to remove "Feedback Score: XX reviews, XXX%" from the postbit as I've put the iTrader ratings into the postbit myself, is there any possible way to remove that line? I've examined the product but I can't seem to find it. I'm not a professional in editing products, lol. Help would be appreciated.

I've got the plugin working fine in 3.8.4, no problems at all.

Just one thing I'd like to do if possible, in the posbit only show the feedback score if a user has been given feedback, otherwise don't show the feedback score: 0.

the problem is that if we do not show the zero feedback, there is no link for others to feedback that person... or you simply use the profile tab... is that what you want?

i will add a little tweak to make it so, next week when i debug the actual version.

support will be back at http://vbenhancer.com in the next days, and i'll have a fix for that as well in the next 2.5.1 version to be released at that moment... *(ability to not display ratings in postbit at all.)

Installed to 3.8.4 No problem.

For torch bearers to update the script, I recommend

• Adding a readme.txt file which suggests updating the user group permissions (adding itrader adds itrader permission sets under user group management and each group needs to have the ability to 'view feedback' turned on), else people will install and post about how it doesn't work. (Makes for long forum threads)

• Add a small graphic which appears before "Feedback Score:" in he postbit. This will draw attention, make it more aesthetic, etc.

• Add support for non-trade related feedback tracking.

• Ability to modify text which appears in postbit e.g. I'd like it to say "Secure Trader Feedback:..."

As far as the idea of a paid addon like this, anyone wanting to do that would be starting from scratch since the code base for itrader itself is GPL, however look at the installs and consider the value. It's a no-brainer. Make something affordable, and I for one would certainly make the purchase. Feedback is a well loved tool.

i was able to get this working just fine after updating the board software and keep all of the old transactions. if i could figure out how to change that small part in the postbit, i would be ecstatic.

yes, i was able to keep all of the old data just fine.

what i did was uninstall the plugin from the admin cp, then install the new one and told it to overwrite. worked perfectly, except for the little postbit item i asked about. :)

Is there a quick and easy way to make this display positive, negative, and neutral in the form of 0-0-0 in the users postbit where the total would normally go? I've played with it for two hours but I'm just not good enough at this stuff to figure out how to pull the data and place it there. I'm sure it'd take you two seconds.

Quick question...is there a way to view some sort of log that goes along with itrader? A moderator on my forum deleted someone's feedback and I want to find out who did it. Is there a way for me to do this?

with the old version, you were able to edit the postbit and postbit_legacy templates to show the iTrader score. with this new version, it's all handled through the plugin. i haven't figured out how to change it and i asked on the vbenhancer.com site before it went down.

go to your admin cp. at the bottom, under statistics & logs, select moderator log. select the date range and the product you want to see a log for. ;)

If that's the case then I think I'll revert to the old version.
