Paul M 07-03-2009 02:26 PM

Sorry, you cannot do that with this modification, nor is their any simple way to change it.

RobbieZ 07-09-2009 03:51 PM

Thanks Paul - Will check this out.

Nickbe 07-12-2009 11:47 AM

If a user is moved to my 'inactive users' usergroup will their secondary usergroups remain intact? If they're then restored will their secondary usergroup remain intact?

Paul M 07-12-2009 05:30 PM

Secondary usersgroups are unaffected by this.

Nickbe 07-12-2009 05:44 PM

Perfect, thanks Paul!

jl255 08-03-2009 10:18 AM

i suppose i can deactivate the daily cron through the scheduled tasks menu right? or i can change the frequency, right?

Paul M 08-03-2009 11:00 AM

You could ........ but that would be a very bad idea, since it is the vbulletin daily cron, not specific to this modification. You will probably break something and/or have some unwanted side effects.

high6 08-07-2009 11:04 PM

Thanks, just what I was looking for. Question though, does inactive mean not visiting the site or not posting? Would be very nice to have the option to move them if they haven't posted in x days.

Paul M 08-07-2009 11:08 PM

As it says ;

GetWebHost 08-09-2009 07:18 PM

Thanks for the mod. Works perfect.

sevkotr 08-24-2009 09:31 AM

Julie 08-24-2009 01:39 PM

RedHacker 08-28-2009 08:41 AM

Paul M when gone the users in InActive Usergroup and login this user to the site automatic gone in the First UserGroup or wait little for gone....?

Paul M 08-28-2009 12:28 PM

Erm... Sorry, Im not sure what your asking.

RedHacker 08-28-2009 01:08 PM

etg One user gone in InActive Member when login in statistics online member show inactive usergroup....?

voglermc 08-28-2009 03:00 PM

Well my users moved somewhere but I cant tell where. When I created a new usergroup it was #10 so I then installed the plugin and set it to 10 and 365 days. No other changes. Then I set the days to 9999999 and they did not return even after waiting 30 minutes. How do I get them back? Disable the plug-in?

Online statistics ? There are no (default) online stats that show user groups. Im still not really sure what your question is.

RedHacker 08-28-2009 09:37 PM

In the connect users the members usergroup are inactive usergroup..? I said for the users to gone inactive....

Paul M 08-28-2009 10:15 PM

Sorry, but you need to find someone who speaks english to translate for you. Im guessing you are using an online translator, and its not making any sense.

voglermc 08-28-2009 11:01 PM

Can you answer my question?

If the users are in the category of user InActive and make login in Site then in who category they will appear?.? Does the change become immediately??

If you have the restore option set then yes, they are immediately moved back to the restore group.

They have moved to whatever usergroup you set. Disabling the plugin will not change anything if they have already moved.

Good would be InActive Users they go to the team of user that we will no immediately select from Restore but they pass somebody thinly?.

swiper the fox 09-09-2009 02:26 AM

Installed this a long time ago.

Just recently uninstalled it as it ws too time consuming to restore inactive people

When i originally installed it, i was moving people to the COPPA/Moderated Users group

When I check this usergroup, it shows no one is in this group, but I am still receiving emails indicating they are banned, and when I check , they are in this group whch is I assume where they were put after the original 200 days they were inactive.

Why are they not showing in this group , and if they aren't moved there after this time frame, and are only moved once they log in, and the product is removed, why are they being moved there ?

thankz

Paul M 09-09-2009 10:33 AM

Ive read this three times and Im still not sure what your saying.

I am curious though, why are you restoring members manually, when there is an option to restore them automatically if they login (and just how many members return after more than 180 days to make that such an issue) Ive been using this for 4 years and never manually restored anyone.

Trek 09-10-2009 07:24 PM

Paul,

I've created a mod based on yours (extends yours) and would like permission to post it here?

Basically it's your mod with the functionality of posting threads with the names of the members that went inactive, etc. I call it Inactive Members Plus. Anyway, please let me know if it's ok or not as I do use your existing code (although I've gone through and renamed things for consistency within my module and such).

Paul M 09-10-2009 08:24 PM

As long as you credit me in the code, and the thread, then its fine by me.

No worries, thanks much!

phai 09-12-2009 02:36 AM

Installed.

Thanks, have been looking for something like this. :)

Hi-Jack 09-12-2009 07:09 AM

If we can add multiple groups for checking users, will they be restored to the original group they came from? I don't see any comma delimited options in the restore features... Using with multiple user groups is thus not as flexible as I would have liked it... or ma I wrong and does it restore the the member to the group it came from?

Paul M 09-12-2009 09:11 AM

There is only one restore group.

MentaL 09-12-2009 09:38 AM

I would use this if it could allow original usergroup restore.. sadly i got 10 + groups and i need the users to return to the correct one.

SᴩiDᴇЯ 09-13-2009 01:09 PM

Nice job Paul thank you.

choccyclaire 12-04-2009 12:29 PM

Is there any way to reverse this mod, by moving ACTIVE users to another usergroup. I cannot find any addons for promoting active users anywhere.

Paul M 12-04-2009 02:34 PM

vBulletin already has a built in promotions system which may do what you want.

choccyclaire 12-06-2009 03:27 PM

This is what I thought, but unfortunately the default promotions will only go by either join date, post count or rep.

Thanks anyways.

mattysheff 12-29-2009 10:56 PM

Will you be updating this for vb4

Paul M 12-29-2009 11:20 PM

At some point.

runwtdevil 12-29-2009 11:55 PM

When I installed this, does go into affect right away? Or "X" amount of days that the cutoff point is set at?

Great mod by the way!
