When I click on the Manage Banner (which only shows up if you're super admin, so I know I am (and I looked in the config file, and confirmed that I am a super admin), I get taken to the smilies page. I've seen this question asked asked about 5 times before me, and no reply? Please can you help?

Be noted that your main usergroup must be Admin (6).

But i am having problems with the display on VBA does it only carry over when placed in the header? I have it in the Navbar and its not carrying over like everythin g else does. the quick link is ther but not the banner.

In the next release will there be a option to set duration advertisement? I mean like if i set it to display/rotate for a year it will automatically stop and deactivate the ad when a specific date is reached?

Love this mod, now have it running on all of my sites. Easily the best out there (and I've used a lot).

Once modification I'd really love to see is to change the option 'Open links in new window/tab' to be configurable per banner. Some banners I want to open a new tab and some banners I want to point to locartion on same site.

Development Suggestion: Would it be possible to display a specific Ad for a duration defined by clicks per month, and once the set click count is reach for a set month to no longer display the Ad?

I'm a little slow on the uptake and it took me a bit to figure out where the banner directory should be and where I should add $cyb_flashimagebanners (ad_header_end), but it all worked out in the end.

I am having issues with the timed banners, they dont work properly, i I have banners for 3 or 8 seconds and get the banners to show the same amount of time, all show at 8 seconds, changed display order & played with settings too no avail

This is not working for fresh install of vbulletin version 3.8.3.

Manage Banner link is missing, Images don't display on any pages of the forum, Images not found in Cyb folder once the banner is setup in the manager.... and several other issues incountered.

Even with the manual insert of the code per the note with the zip file it doesn't show. I had to place a direct link to get it to show up, but then everyone sees it.

Seems to be working fine on 3.8.3 for me.

I have a feature suggestion. I would like to set an expiration date for each ad, so that I don't have to manually remove ads later.

Also, I would like the option of adding a line of text underneath each ad which is also linked.

I got it working with images but not working with flash. Set to 640 X 480. with 500 delay (just one banner atm).

Should flash be .swf or .flw?

There is no size limit. And it should be swf.

Ensure that you have selected Flash in Banner Type setting.

I installed an all, but the banners are not showing, I replaced the $cybblabalbla with the <a href of the banner directly and it worked just fine

The cybfolder, you have to set up on your server I gather. I alredy had a banners folder so I just entered the direct url of each image and they display.



What did you do, I hav ejust installed it and the first banner shows up for the set period of time buy it does not refresh. I have it in random mode.

Still cant get my banners to rotate or click on. They are displayed for the set period of time but are not clickable and do not rotate.

as got a pm from brother/sister and so may contribute for little help.

i use the ipb-pro skin and modify the "forumhome" template,and remember create a sub-directory to hold your image or flash files
