There needs to be instructions for manually inserting template edits, i ain't getting the thread description box either, and no i will not use vbulletin default style!

The description box wasn't showing up for me either but I did a forum and thread rebuild (like Drocr) and then it worked.

i installed this hack but nothing happened! i have enabled description in a forum but when I am trying to make a topic the is no description textbox!
I tried it in default theme and i tried to reinstalled it but nothing!!! :(

What should I do?

Installed and now not work for me.
Mod active but:
- New Thread - I don't see any Description
- Edit - I see Description, but when I edit & save... nothing saves. Reply Edit = Description is empty.

However, ended up unvalidating the HTML code. Easy fix:

Search "thread description" in templates.. open description_threadbit
change: <img class="inlineimg" src=".../strela_w.gif" border="0" alt="">
to: <img class="inlineimg" src=".../strela_w.gif" border="0" alt="" />

Installed.

1. Go to "Maintenance" on the left pane of the AdminCP.
2. Click on "Update Counters"
3. Click "Rebuild Forum Information".

That worked for me after I thought this mod was a fluke.

Would it be at all possible to add a way to show thread descripting in meta deta?

Great mod, but I had to uninstall it. It seemed to conflict with something in Internet Explorer. Perhaps it was due to some combination of mods I've installed, but the issue with IE went away when I disabled this one.

Uninstalled , installed again and still not working .

i delete everything and install it again but still the same !

When i add a description for any thread it doesn't appear !
And when i edit the post i see the description field is empty .

I got a problem, and maybe it's a setting matter, but I'd like to know whether there's a solution or if I'm doing something wrong. After installing the mod, everything looked ok, and the description option appeared, but after posting, when I try to edit the description, it just doesnt. I ok the post modification, yet the description stays as before. Any way to fix that?
