I like this hack but the problem is
if I have added 3 members and 2 guests using this hack and in real I have 2 members online, It will show
Current active users 2(5 members and 2 guests)

Problem resolved, was using wrong version.

I don't know how you do it but i cant even import the product. It gives some dependencies error.. or incompatible with version 3.7 and above...

We've got this running ok on 3.8.4

Good mod but has a flaw.

When there is only 1 member online all the added members have no commas or spaces between then and when logout viewing as a guest it's the same.

I don't think this is helpful. I tried to use it, but had to disable Who's Online and a mod so people would join.

If you want members, just ask people to join, just so you can have a member count. Post comments about your site on Google, get reviews, etc!

Yeah it seems working on beta 5 but I'm trying it on RC2 and getting template errors on top of the header.

On your site it say "En este momento hay 219 usuarios en l?nea. 43 miembros y 176 visitantes." but do not display user names of 43 miembros.

I reinstalled it for version 4.0 and it is giving errors.

Well, for us newbies this mod is very useful, along with the "Members that visited in the last 24 hours" mod.

When a site doesn't look very active, no one wants to register. When they see its active, they want to register.

My forum went live about 3 weeks ago and I only have about 5,000 members so far, this mod is still very useful because during the night hours, not many people are online, only about 130. If I add 200 fake guests that makes my site look a bit busier.

Plus, there aren't any ads whatsoever on my site and that makes it look a bit empty. :confused:

if you CANNOT get it to work in 3.8.4 then do this instead:

find this code and ADD some fake numbers in like i did here:

I installed this plugin, it doesn't add any new users. It makes the current registered users "active".
I go to the who's online and the "fake" users aren't in it. Not a very good mod. I installed this to my new site and it says 50 online and it doesn't change the Most users online.

This mod needs improvement.

Does this help increase the amount of "unique members" that are numbered in the awstats? Or does this only add a bunch of "users" to make possible member think the board is more active then it is?

How can it do that when one gains access to the profile of a User (who has been added to the list of Users that is viewing the Forum BY MEANS OF Fake User) one sees like that the user is connected really? Namely where it puts Last Activity that it puts: Today (since it is connected by the Fake user in this moment) and that the icon of Online and Offline is like Online?
