Different JavaScript is used so will need to remove any old template edits and then apply new template edits. I'm trying to reduce template edits but I'm having problems defining the vBeditor

The javascript (template edits) have changed so you need to reapply them.

What bbcode are you using in the canned reply?

(If it doesnt contain personal info then you can pm it to me and I'll test the code on my vbulletin forum)

I use only the Standard BBCodes, like

So, now there is a Space...but no break.

In my canned replies, my Editor shows it correct.

upgraded to 2.5.5 removed template edits, uploaded files, but still need to click twice then it displays.

since i pretty much use this on my forum for infraction messages my suggestion would be for the admin to be able to add some default messages which can be used for everyone

I would love to see this as well. It would make it the perfect hack :) (it's already near perfect btw and nominated and rated accordingly)

Hi,

I've installed this a couple of times with the different version, i now have the latest version installed but still cant get it to work.

All installed ok, but when coming to add a canned reply, it shows the title field correctly but the Reply field it doesn't give me a box to type in the canned reply?

Can anyone help on this please .. thank you :)

Have you enabled permissions to your usergroup to use canned replies and set the number of canned replies your usergroup is allowed. (Also check secondary usergroups.)

Hi, Yep i've only got it on mine set atm, admin, and the amount has been set too, but still the same problem :) as it all comes up apart from the box for me to put the canned reply in. the field title is the "Reply" just not the area to type in

What version of vBulletin are you using?
Have you installed any modifications that alter the messagearea/vBeditor?

When you are uploading cannedreplies.php have you checked 'Allow Overwrite'?

Heres what comes up then in user control panel and I click the link, no room to put reply in ... when i put the title only and click save it just brings me back to the page to click the link to add a reply in.

I want to use your modification but I also use the "Icons for UserCP" Addon.

Yes, but there wont be icon for canned replies.

First, install both modifications

Find in template USERCP_SHELL_ICONS

Have you tried uninstalling canned replies completely and then reinstalling it?

Please add a way to set standard infraction texts. Simply allowing admins to set canned replies that are available to all moderators would already do this.
Attaching certain canned replies to certain infractions & warnings would be a more sophisticated way. This way moderators would not have to select the correct text anymore.
