I have installed it on my 3.7.3 and it works fine i guess.
however, i have tested it, it does stop when the answer is wrong. but it says refresh the question but there is no button to refresh. should it be displayed and only my system doesnt show it?? or there isnt any such button?

basically what i gathere is that if you type maths questions like this:

2 - 2 equals...:0:zero

then it should be fine. you can use any combinations. i used like 20 questions like this:)

Also, I would like to know that under the hint for questions it was written:

Wrtie "blubber" in the box.:blubber

but what i dont know is, where should i write this word blubber?

never mind, i figured it out:)

you can write in the following manner:
2 + 2 equals...:4:four
8 + 8 equals...:16:sixteen
these are for mathematical questions. then if you want to add text questions, write the following:
Please type "blubber" into the following box.:blubber
in other words, the text question could be anything like:

Type the name "Andrew" into the next box....:Andrew

or

What is the country where you live.....:Spain

In this way you can add any number of questions in here:)

Will all the questions appear at once or randomly?

As far as I understand, a single question at a time would appear.
If the registering person makes a mistake, then a message will appear (as mentioned in the attachments) and he/she will have to go BACK and refresh the page for a new question to be displayed

Questions appear once. The questions your referencing do not have to be used, they're just examples. It's just showing you how to format the questions in the Admin CP. In other words question here:answer here.

I would recommend against using math questions, as they're easy for bots to bypass.

A lot of new types of spamming going on so thanks for this mod. I do have it set to fill in profile fields too just to post etc.... most are .ru email addies and a whole lot of gmail addies as well.

Just as another idea for NoSpam!, what if there was some sort of checkbox, radio button, etc that we could add? If this has been discussed and shot down, plz excuse me.

I don't know what's going on lately w/ spams, i used to have the human verification and that was more than enough but now that's nothing.

All my websites are being attacked big time. Looks like spammers declared war. So far core VB no-spam succumbs to suckers' tide. LOL.

Am just trying to install this but its not showing up so am looking in the register template to see where I can add "$human_verify", but can't seem to find where to put it so it appears underneath the image verification bit.

Edit: Have found it, but the NoSpam! questions still aren't showing on the new user registration page. I'm running 3.7.3 Patch Level 1.

Strange, i turned it off and then back on again and it started to work.

The authoritys should go after the companys that are paying the spammers to advertise their junk.
They aren't hard to find, just read the spam posts and there they are.
Use a spambot, get fined a million dollars.
That will stop it.

Well, for one, you can't use it AND captcha...

And for another, you can add multiple questions all at one time. HUGE time saver.

I just had a major spam attack on my forum. 22 new users spaming the site. I stopped registration when it hit 22 but there was a new bot every 30 minutes or so like clock work. The funny thing is that I use Human Verification system CAPTCHA. It cannot be as good as we all thought. I will be installing this one. Thanks!

I had no spam 3.0 installed. Worked great at getting rid of spammers.
Now I've had a new attack. I upgraded to NoSpam 4.0, imported the XML but now NoSpam has a line through it and is not active. :confused:
I went to vb admin options and turned it on ... still the line is through the No Spam name in the VB/plugins and products/manage products screen
Anyone know why? And what I can do to fix it?

Excellent thought. I did that and got rid of the line through my No Spam add on.

Still No Spam is not asking the questions as expected. I added the questions after reinstalling and ensured it was turned on.
As a new user I'm not being asked the questions.

I turned off human verification options for registration as i do not want those impossible to read letters. Would that also turn off No Spam?
