First - You have edited my PlugIn, so it makes it almost impossible for me to debug as I cannot search for the places that my edits affected. If you want my assistance, you should NOT be editing the PlugIn.

Second - What version were you using before? 1.3.0, 1.3.1 or 1.4.0? I can compare changes, but the place bit that puts in the collapse icon hasn't really changed.

Third - I have tested on 3.6.8 and 3.7.2 without any problems. What changes have you made to your forum - they are the likely culprit - did you happen to install any other PlugIns?

From what I can tell, you may have changed your "forumhome_forumbit_levelX_YYpost" templates. As your forums seem to link to ".../audio-video-14/" instead of ".../forumdisplay.php?f=1 - that would probably be the reason.

Only possible thing I can suggest is to go to admincp - Plugins & Products - Plugin Manager edit "Sorky02 - SubForum List Control - parse_templates" : Change the "Execution Order" to 1 and see if that works.

No more help will be provided on an edited version of my PlugIn.

No need - unless you also have edited my PlugIn ;) or have done other changes at the same time.

No. That looks like a fully customized forum home page.

Super Jinni 07-27-2008 02:54 PM

thanks -again- for the updates
:)

JakeS 07-27-2008 06:40 PM

Would it be possible to show projects forums? ie: the forum subforum created by projects.

Thanks :)

Besides that, the addon is working great :)

Ok :)...

Without mod enabled:

With mod enabled:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

As you can see. it removes the forums from the list created by project tools. would it be possible to show them?

Actually with a color that is should not be there are all. I did take a look at posts #16,17,18 and it did not fix the issue. Here is an image of what I mean:

Attachment 84723

The background to those forums should be black. TIA.

Have you checked the options? I put some values in by default so that it makes it a little more obvious what can be entered and what they do. Check these three ;)
SubForum list Formatting (combines with all preceeding settings)
SubForum Outer Box (table) formatting
SubForum Table (table) formatting
SubForum Element (td) formatting

I see what you mean, but I'm not familiar with Project Tools - Can you send me a link or copy so I can test it to see what is happening?

skulldred 08-07-2008 02:51 PM

Hi all

i have the following problem:
After some changes on the templates i received a strange symbol string right from the sub categories. You can see it in the attachment.
First i think i have done something wrong in the template, so i tried the standard template but received the same strange string. Have you an idea why this happens?
Thanks for your help!

My guess is that you have some other PlugIn that is affecting the same templates... PM me a URL and I'll take a look.

yingzhou 08-12-2008 12:08 PM

Did the function collapsed have cookie enable? When I reload the page it return to default, expand. :D

No, I didn't put allowance for cookies... It will revert to the chosen state of open or collapsed - I'll add a "remember" state to the Wish List.

Hi Sorky,

i have a problem with this mod, can you help? My English is not good, i'm trying my best to explain the problem as i can.

I have 3 level:

0 level - category
1 level - forum
2 level - subforum

the setting is:
Depth of Forums - Forum Home 2
Depth of Forums - Forum Display 1
Depth of Sub-Forums 1

it works fine in the index forum home as you can see:
Attachment 85480

but when i enter the forum level 1 (Forum Display status), it's subforum doesn't align right.
Attachment 85481

how to fix it? Thanks!

You probably just need set the very last option (Other Formatting Options (Global) / Use the full column width for the SubForum table) to Yes.

If that doesn't help, PM me a link and I'll hapilly take a look.

I just checked your site with IE7 and FF3 and it was working perfectly. I presume you have disabled some other plug-in and all is fine ;)

If you have any other problems, PM me a login and the details and I'll look at the site setup.

The image only "shows" the URL - I cannot see from the image what happens when you click on it. Clicking on the img would actually call the function that shows/hides the table. The URL only executes if the function does not work.

As I said before... Your site works perfectly for IE7 & FF3...

What browser are you using?

What do other people see?

i don't know whether u're getting same problem or not but still it's showing top of the page on clicking. and before update [in 2.0/3.0] it was ok. i've also attached screenshot in above posts to show you. in all browsers.

The URL you see is EXACTLY what I see. This is 100% correct. It SHOULD NOT execute as the script runs instead. Please CLICK when in IE or FF and see - I have gone to your site with both browser types and the URL displayed is as you showed (which is perfectly fine) as it does not execute - The collapse works perfectly on your site when I visit it.

Could someone else check his site and let him know that it works?
