Did you did this by adding them at Forum and moderadors?

Enjoy!

I like the mod, useful but upon browsing your site noticed it is a free style offered here on vb.org and you removed the copyright to the author and placed your name. Please correct this issue before I use your mod - thanks!

Your Demo --> http://www.nchometheaters.com/forum.php

The authors site is here --> http://www.completegfx.com/forum/portal.php

The style for download here is --> https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=165500

Now, if you paid for this style i.e. they customized it for you and you paid for branding free rights then forgive this post otherwise you are simply not free to run around taking credit for that of others, I on occasion add a line saying "Additional Site Customization by:" and that is credit enough for yourself. The site looks ok so far but if in fact you stole the thunder I say shame on you sir and honestly it will embarass me being a fellow North Carolinian.

S-MAN

Wow! If you would have bothered to look at the source you would have seen the copyright, it is blended into the background but it was never removed!

Okay, I have a problem with this mod. Everytime I log off internet explorer, and then open it again, and revisit my forum, the images show as a red X. I then have to visit my file manager, and open the folder containing the image, and click the image link, to reactivate the image and get it to show up again.

That's probably an issue with your cache, and not the modification. What's the link to your forum again?

Actually, it appears you have the wrong location for your images set. They're pointing to a page that requires you to log into a server. Double check the directory you have the images pointing to.

The url I currently have for my directory is the only way I can get the images to show up though. If I edit it, they go X again.

But this method your using only makes them show up for you, and no one else. That's because you can login to your domain manager, so the images are accessible to you that way. Everyone else would be getting the broken image.

It's been a while since I used this mod, but I believe you have to enter a path in the Admin CP, correct? Looking at the URLs your using now, I think the problem you had before is you had a double slash right before the image name:

Code:

http://hmandsforums.oliwy.net/forums/images/cat//bleel-40x40.gif
Take the extra slash out, and the image displays just fine:

MrHorror 01-03-2011 12:57 PM

Okay check it out...http://hmandsforums.oliwy.net/forums/index.php

I think I got it up and working fine. I signed off IE, and then signed back on and the image is still up, which means it must be up for everyone now. I took the url you gave me and put it into the directory slot. Except, removed the image url at the end, and the extra slash , which had it come out like this...

http://hmandsforums.oliwy.net/forums/images/cat

And now it's showing up fine. Thanks!

Yup, I can see them now.

I guess this mod is different then the one I have installed now (which I'm not currently using, either). Mine has an input field in each forum in the forum manager.

floggerss 01-28-2011 05:52 PM

I cant make it work for 3.8.4 i cant find <td class="tcat" colspan="<if condition="$vboptions[showmoderatorcolumn]">6<else />5</if>">

angeljs 10-02-2011 10:14 AM

Is there any way to show these on sub-forums, too? :)
