Oh yes, that made me mad until I found the post, thank you very much for posting this, lelo!

Princeton, you maybe should alter the xml accordingly.

BTW, thank you very much for this mod.

The product is great, but:

If anybody have vbadvanced and this plugin installed, and you have problems with the vbadvanced multipage feature you need to add the bold text to "Replace Templates - editor_smiliebox & editor_toolbar_on"

This is to disable this hack into vbadvanced, until somebody find a real fix.
Thanks Brian (vbadvanced) for your support.

I have the same, issue, it wouldn't let me use bb code modula, unless i disable the xml of this mod, creat my modula then enable it again.

I have 1 smilie row down haha

You still need to change the number per row in your vBulletin Options settings.

I did that over and over...forgot to clear my cache so I didn't see the change :o

I think it's time to go to bed. I'm embarrassed haha

Probably the only way to find out is to install it on your demo board and see what happens.

Nah just ask me and I will tell you already it works like a dream.

Leo Brazil 01-13-2009 04:31 PM

It's working fine after upgraded to 3.8.0

goxy63 01-13-2009 09:56 PM

With Vb 3.7.4
I got problems using this hack, problem occures in Vba dynamics
When I disable this hack everything is just fine
I cant edit modules under Vba if I use this hack

Will try This mod under Vb 3.8, but I think problem is related with VBA not VB

Any pointers?

theparentpack 01-14-2009 06:52 AM

You are right the conflict is with vBa CMPS. Whenever I need to edit my bbcode modules for CMPS I have to disable this hack or the content of the module as well as the editor do not appear when I pull up the module to edit it. I look forward to cutting out the extra step!

Thanks for this great hack!

Nice mod Joe

i just wanna report a bug and post its fix
somewhere editor/toolbar disappears, in example in vBAdvanced AdminCP -> Edit BBCode Modules or some another modification which includes editor

In Replace Templates - editor_smiliebox & editor_toolbar_on plugin
Find:
Code:

if ($toolbartype AND ($vbulletin->options['smtotal'] > 0 OR $vbulletin->options['wysiwyg_smtotal'] > 0))
Replace with:
Code:

if ($toolbartype AND ($vbulletin->options['smtotal'] > 0 OR $vbulletin->options['wysiwyg_smtotal'] > 0) AND VB_AREA!=='AdminCP')
PS: similar mods such as GTPosting Rules has same issue

Quite nicely.

Scalemotorcars 01-21-2009 05:40 PM

Forgive me if this has been covered already but could someone tell me the template I need to edit for this hack to change the background color from alt2 to alt1 my smilies are all white background and the alt2 is gray.

Thought is would be an easy find but......

Digital Jedi 01-22-2009 11:37 AM

Look for the templates that have _GTSMILIEBOX_3700 at the end. They are in your Editor Templates group.

snowbizx 01-27-2009 03:53 AM

my first mod! thanks!

Nightmare-GameZ 01-27-2009 04:15 AM

Vaupell 01-30-2009 09:21 AM

well would love this, but waiting until someone shows some conclusive fix for VbA intergration fix's.

Tagged for now.

Leo Brazil 01-30-2009 10:35 AM

It seems you'll only have an issue with vBA if you have multipage on it.
I have only on vBA page and it seems good as it is.

Gladhatter 01-30-2009 11:54 AM

It has 0 issues that I can find.

goxy63 02-12-2009 09:34 AM

Fix for Vba would be highly appreciated.

odln018 03-11-2009 10:52 AM

Is there a mod that allows for the smilies to be displayed in a separate popup box?

Gladhatter 03-11-2009 02:39 PM

NO mod I know of but any smiles beyond what you set in admin cp to display will be available in a pop up. Hope this helps.

itsheinz 03-22-2009 10:55 AM

How about in the quick reply?

Gladhatter 03-22-2009 12:58 PM

Quick reply is just that quick. If you wish smiles and advanced features then either turn off quick reply so it is not available or else do not use it.

goxy63 04-23-2009 12:21 AM

Fix for Vba would be highly appreciated.

Lee Roberts 05-04-2009 10:20 PM

Confirmed working for vBulletin 3.8.1 Patch Level 1. :)

Stripercoast2 06-12-2009 02:43 PM

Has anyone tried this yet with 3.8.3?

Stripercoast2 06-13-2009 01:15 PM

Confirmed working with 3.8.3

goxy63 06-26-2009 07:16 PM

Uninstalled as its not working with Vba CMPS

Waited too long for fix but nothing

Great mod but not for Vba users

Cheers

Itchy Nips 07-02-2009 02:33 PM

does anyone know how to change the color of the link right above the smilies:

Smilies [More]

Is this something that I can change? I just want to make it a bit darker

imk 07-03-2009 10:27 PM

Saint_I_Am 07-18-2009 07:47 AM

I had the same problem others have been experiencing with vbadvance not working.

I disabled this mod and followed the instructions in this topic http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=157640 and it worked 100%

ComoEstaEso-com 08-20-2009 01:28 PM

Just installed in 3.8.4.... working perfectly so far! :)

Thanks for the work!! =)

Hi

i am having problem calculating the form width. I don't know how to put this Message box in the centre of the page. I looked at the 8 pages and only one person had the same problem but he found the answer but never mentioned how he succeeded. I looked at the form width and other threads mentioned in the first post but i am still unable to sort out this problem

Please look at the picture and guide me how do i put this dialogue/message box in the centre on the page. It is going on the right side
