Hi ive just installed your cchatbox on my vbulliten but for some reason it doesnt work??when i enter the webpage it says Loading all the time.. Can someone please help me with this?Also when you say Install Includes and cchatbox.php i cant because it says 'Something missing at line 1018...Please help me

How do I remove the "cChatBox" text label for the chat box? I want it to say "Theater Chat Box". See attachment for clarification.

Hey I figured out it was the userlist that caused my page to relode into a blank white page, any help on this? I have installed it on my local host vbulletin were I test everything and it works fine. So any help on getting the userliast to work on my site?

pls not remote the title cChatBox... i not have insert the "copyright" but pls leave the title cChatBox :D
however.. you can add other text left title by command: /topic message
or modify the template "cchatbox".

I would suggest adding your copyright and allowing the change from cchatbox JMO of course. In case I decide to add this to my site can you explain what the first c stands for in cchatbox?? I'm sure someone on my board will ask why chat is spelled with 2 c's. Nice work BTW :)

Yeah I agree with the above. Thats a title, not a copyright. It should be editable by users. Now it looks like an advertisement and decreases the look of my forum skin, cause honestly what user's going to come up and say "hey look he's using cchatbox!"? Im gonna get about a million "wtf is cchatbox" PM's. IMO

I really would look into changing that. But great job on the shout box, this one is the best I've seen.

I am getting this error message on the Allow Actions and the Allowed BB Code. How can I fix. The statement below, but no info was returned. And at the moment my Chatbox only says loading.

I love this plugin. I clicked installed, and will nominate it for mod of the month. It looks great. It fits right in with my forum theme, and it works. I had been looking for a good real-time chat program for my website for a long time.

EDIT: Seems to be a hit with the members so far. I'm still working out the kinks, but even with the occasional anomaly it's working great. Just fine tuning the options.

One of our admin, whenever he logs in, his id shows that many times on right side. U can see 4 urself.

Slight problem, everything is installed, but it continues to show Loading...Please Wait. Anything I need to do to fix? :erm:

I have the white screen of death!!...when I type something and click send, it takes me to the cchatbox.php

try to disinstall, delete the old files, upload the new files/directory and then install.

Hi,

Great mod!

One question though, how would I go about moving the location of it?

Im currently using Dreams chatbox and really like the position of it and would like to be able to do the same with yours.

Ive attached a screenshot of where I would liek to move it to.

If you can help that will be great :D

Also one problem ive noticed so far - If you click to change the colour of your text, once youve click on the colour it refreshs the page, but sticks on a white page - it dosent fully refresh.

i am wondering when i install the chatbox is it gonna effect the website and get it slower? is it going to load more add to Cpu or constrains the server?

you want the chatbox inside the "What's Going On" table or only under?

EDIT: tnx for the info of colour problems, i fix it ;)

I have just run into a problem, when i want to change my font colour it takes me to /forum/cchatbox.php and just displays a blank white page is this a error or is it meant to do this ?

Ok when i go to forum home page this happens it says loading. i try to upload the folder includes but it wont let me. Also how do i upload .PHP files?:confused::confused:

You need to use an FTP program to upload your files, there are tons of free ones to choose from (I'm currently using FileZilla), or if you use cpanel with your host (or a control panel of some kind) you should be able to upload the files via your file manager in the hosts control panel.

If you're unfamiliar with FTP, read this. I was trying to find a tutorial over here, but I apparently fail at searching.

My fonts and smilies don't work and the smilies are enabled.

I am using the default skin for my forum. Same issue as above....

My fonts and smileys also do not work. Also it appears that the shout box appears broken with certain templates, browsers, etc. Seems very buggy right now. Any suggestions?

My smilies are working fine but I would like to limit them to a set group to be used with chats. Anyone know how i can do that?
