Yup...Just confirming that in Firefox there's a plugin conflict that crashes the browser. It didn't occur in vB 3.7 Beta 3 and only in 4.

i installed it working fine, but i cannot change the channel or add new channel form the pp up window or u can say i cant do anything from the popup window, no options in there work

What plugin is that Freesteyelz? Can you point me to it, and give more details?

I can't confirm the issue using IE, didn't test it yet.

I just can say that before 3.7 beta I had no problems with the streams, now some of my favorites are crashing or freezing.

same thing happens with ie 7 ... so id don't know if it is the plugin alone.

I think its a problem with the new ajax method in vB 3.7, that uses Yahoo.util.connect. I googled for problems with it and found nothing. Whoever finds out what the problem is wins a cookie.

That's the only thing that changed between the 3.6 version and this one. And here it crashes/freezes when you change a station, which is when the ajax is used. Everyone seems to love this Yahoo javascript functions though. I have no idea what the problem may be, if someone has a clue please let me know, I'm interested in this too.

The attachment below is the Firefox plugin error.

I installed the WMP plugin at port25.technet.com, provided by nerofix...The error still occurs when a changed station is to play. More information about the plugin error Firefox WMP Plugin Knowledge Base. I don't know if that will help you.

Do you need the plug-in for this add-on?

I assume that you don' t need the plug-in, so I don' t think this is a problem of this add-on. You better ask the plug-in developer.

By the way, why did you install the plug-in? What is it for?

You shouldn't need the Firefox plugin to work with this mod. It's just an update for WMP support in general. The conflict we noticed occured only after vB Beta 4 was installed for several members including myself.

Actually, jaycob, read my post #93. Even with the plugin installed errors still do occur...At least on my end and several members of my site. The problem existed only after Beta 4 was installed. Now I understand completely that vB is in Beta so I expect problems to occur.

In the usergroup permissions when i update it doesn't and always shows no :eek:

Correct... I goto lets say admins and set the permissions to yes for each part of the tv and radio settings then click save but when I go back to check there back at no...

Might be a vb error thou rather than your hack... I've asked on vb.com but no reply :(
