I just installed it and each step look ok, but I can not find the way to create categories.

Some other members also asked the same here but still no answer, could someone kindly tell me where should I go to create categories?

OK, I got the answer by myself.
1st go to "vBullrtin Options" to set VBFClassifieds
Then you MUST Refesh your browser to display the "VBFClassifieds" Menu. You would never find the Menu untill refesh the browser :)

However it is best to ALWAYS refresh your admin cp (always click the refresh button as to refresh the whole page and not just the frame on the right) after you have installed a mod...


Hmmm yes it seems that this thread is no longer viewed by the vBF team... Unfortunate as I think this program could have had a nice impact with vBulletin usage....

More than one depth in Sub Cats... Ie I wish to create Car Sales > 4X4 > Victoria... But can only get Car Sales > 4X4 and no further :(

Stupid question. Where do the photos display if they are uploaded? I have the 3 directories requested to be 777 set that way. I have no problem adding a new classified ad. They show up, but the photo is not displayed. Thanks for the help!

Forget this module!

I purchased vbFClassified Commercial from vbFreelancers, but because of some inconsistency with my Service provider, it didn't function properly, despite Chris trying to resolve the problem.

The good news was they offered me a full refund. The bad news is, despite taking up the offer, no money has been credited to my PayPal account. I have asked, on several occasions, that this refund is made, but my emails have been totally ignored

Take my advice and DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! They have a terrible customer service and they lie!

Same happened with vbfArticles. However I run my own server and everything is up to date and functioning. However they still blame the server. vbulletinfreelancers is non supportive for their work. Funny, today I got an email from one of their coders, Maria that she will be moving to her own site to develop her own mods, so I replied with my unhappinesss of the support for their products and have yet to hear a reply. Sorry about this rant but I just needed to get it said.
