need help!
i test vbFClassifieds in 3.6.8 version , can view WYSIWYG editor.
but i test on my web vbb 3.6.8 on patch 2 , can not use WYSIWYG editor.just a text area.

Can you uninstall and reinstall it? It's strange, as currently I'm using 3.6.8 patch 2 and everything works fine.

As a provment that your suggestions are always welcome, I just released vbFClassifieds 1.1.0 with a feature asked from 2 of you (Thanks to Matty.B and BatMNet).

Now, users with moderator permission in Classifieds, they have the option to waive the posting fees and bypass the payment procedure.

From the new zip file, upload vbfclassifieds.php and reimport product-vbfclassifieds.xml

Did you forget to mention that the lite version does not support pictures? or am I doing something wrong?

Lite version does not supports gallery, but it supports one photo per ad. What number did you setup at admincp vbFClassifieds->Photos?

Today I did a search in the web and I really became disappointed (to avoid say upset). It's not the fact that I found much more installations than those showing here, but:

1.- I found installations having removed my copyright link
2.- I found installations having modified copyright by showing the text but removed the link to my site
3.- Worst of all I found it published in sites similar to vbulletin.org without my permission.

Please note that are not all sites having done this, but its a big percentage. All above actions are illegal and against my copyright rules. If someone wants to remove our copyright, he can do it by visiting our site and pay for Brand Free version.

But all those who have publish our mod for download, they must remove it at once. They don't have permission to do something like this.

This is a great Mod!

I do have some questions and problems. I did set the "Maximum amount of uploaded photos?" to 5 but when I create a new classified I can only upload one (the selected) picture. How can I upload the other 4 that they show on the classified?

I manage to only create one subcategory. Is it possible to create a subcategory within a subcategory, for example (car-sale-Honda, car-rent-Honda)?

I have created a small add on for this ... to show on the forumhome page, with Olympic's kind permission I can post it here - if anyone would find it useful? It's nothing fancy just displays the last 5 adverts, it can be positioned to your liking in the forumhome template.

If there is enough interest I will post the instructions on how to.

Right of above the ad preview. there is no there photos. I have cmod 777 the three folders

I have also set photos amount in the usergroups area!

I am using the lite version for test before I upgrade to pro

Currently the amount a photos allowed goes in total of photos in all your Ads and not by Ad. But I'm thinking to change it.

-Adding an additional payment method like bank transfer - an option like "Send bank details to Buyer" that after a purchase the buyer gets the bank details from the seller

I don't think that this is the right place to talk for vbFDating. Not only because it's a different mod, but also because it will not have a Lite version.

For some reason, someone has posted a new classified ad, but it hasn't appeared - and it isn't available to be approved, but (I made a small mod to show the last 5 on the forum home) it shows on the index page - how can this be?

Most probably he didn't publiched it. By default the Ad is placing in draft, till the user to click "Publish it". After it goes to admin for approval (if any).

Thanks - on both counts, as you suggested they hadn't published it, I checked in the database to find out!

I've also added the extra part to the query, that worked like a charm as I found until until they published their ad.

I just attempted to run this on vBulletin 3.7 beta 4 and it doesn't seem to work. The fields for a new ad are displaying a '1" in them and when I attempt to add a test ad, it says I don't have permission. (Yes, usergroup was set.) I will follow this to see if it evolves.

I seem to have a problem with the printing facility. When I try to print an ad, I get the following error. Any ideas please.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: showextrafields() in /.../Forums/vbfclassifieds.php on line 4430

Maybe I'm just overlooking something obvious, but after reading 8 pages of comments I see no instructions anywhere about how to add categories! It's not even mentioned at all in the instructions in the initial post. The instructions in the zip file says a bit more: But gives no indication how.

The only odd thing I see in the screenshots is a "New Extra Field" box but there's no indication this has anything to do with vbfclassifieds or how to get to it.

Edit: Currently missing from the instructions is the not-so-trivial requirement to refresh your admin cp after importing the product. Then you'll find a new group on the left "vbFClassifieds", which includes Categories.

Now that I can actually test things, I also seem to be missing any kind of automatic expiration for ads.? Shouldn't this be a Category setting?

Hi I have just tried to install this mod but there are no instructions where to upload vbFClassifiedlite folder by using ftp, I uploaded all in the root directory of the site first and then inside the forum directory but cannot see any thing change in ACP on both occasions.

The only instruction to upload the folder is "Upload all files and directories including at "vbulletin" directory to the directory where vBulletin is installed"

Can some one please help me to where I should upload the vbFClassifiedlite via ftp, any help will be much appreciated.

Depending on your FTP program, go inside the vbFClassified's vbulletin folder and select all. Drag and drop them onto your /forums/ folder on your server.

You can verify afterwards that the file in vbulletin/admincp/ really went into /forums/admincp/ on your server.

When upgrading, you'll have to allow all to overwrite.

Ok it is fix now thanks for helping me out.

Step 7: By default none usergroup has permissions to use vbfclassifieds, so you need to
give permissions to any group. Goto AdminCP->Usergroups->Usergroup Manager and
edit any usergroup you like to give permissions.
*** IMPORTANT ***
If you don't give to Guest at least "can use" permissions, then they must NOT be
able to see the links (Tell a Friend function).

I still do not have permission to use it..

After installing the "lite" version I found the # of fields available inadequate and "upgraded" for $50.00 to the "pro" version WHICH DOESN'T WORK. This company has no tech support number to call and has not gotten back to me via email.

Worse, one of the php files sent along with the purchased version is obviously corrupted- the paid version has no chance of working.

WORST $50.00 SPENT EVER!

I love this mod but have an issue with my custom style. On the main classified page, the category heading are not pulling the graphic from my style. Does anyone how to fix this?

In case anybody is wondering for an update, I've been waiting days for a response from this company regarding my problem and they have not helped me. If the free version works for you then great, but certainly don't spend money on the "enhanced" version.

I wish I would have looked at their "help" forum and saw the unanswered pleas from weeks ago from users who bought this program only to discover a different problem, only the first page of ads are shown (with no fix).
