I liked Brad Pitt's character in Troy as he played the dual role of good guy and bad guy in it with conviction. I don't think he got a very fair review of that film. Eric Bana also was very good Troy.
The Shawshank Redemption was an excellent movie. You can't beat a Tim Robbins - Morgan Freeman matchup.
Jeremiah Johnson was w wilderness type movie with the main character basically alone in the wilderness for a lot of the movie. Beautiful scenery and a lot of it filmed on Redford's ranch if I remember right. This movie along with "Brubaker" and "3 days of the Condor" are some of Redford's best work.
