could be... but I love the way vB 3.7 introduced their profile system. :) and I am sure it's FASTER than IPB. :rolleyes:

the difference is that the vBulletin one is hooked to death so you can add a LOAD of things in it without breaking your style... and you can rebuild the entire design with CSS and simple template edits on vB... rethink it entirely for IPB!

While you can change the colors and images, it is very hard to make your own ACP.

You won't be able to download 3.7.0 today. We are just upgrading vBulletin.com's forums as part of the testing process before an open beta starts in the future.

I've attached a ZIP with two PNG files of the announcement thread (Kier made multiple posts).

I had it open in tabs, and have a screencap extension for Firefox so it wasn't that hard. :)

3.7.0 looks pretty neat. its got a lot of features that look like they have a lot of potential. im not sure if i will upgrade to it, im pretty happy with my forum the way it is. but i will for sure upgrade to vb 4.0.0 whenever that comes out.

Last minute problems I guess but user customisation is not currently enabled, nor the interesting tags on posts that mark them as QUESTION/ ANSWER/ JOKE! etc

The gallery is good except you can put captions on pics but they don't display.

Some are complaining Blog integration not good.

I guess it's early days. They are concentrating on basic bugs right now not the cosmetics.

is the 3.6.x hacks work on it or not????????

It's good but it does have a few bits missing.

You will have to test each individual hack, product or plugin you install to make sure it is still compatible. This is specifically why we allow each license to have a test installation.

It lacks tons of things.

Tag system is terrible and if it stays like this i'll continue using zoints on my site.

Social group lacks tons of features , such as own hidden forum , own blog , events , invite members , mass pm users etc... ( just compare groups with facebook groups )

Profile - blog integration is terrible and it needs a lot of improvement

Everything is again within tables and tons of inline styles all around

Profiles lacks users own posts and users created threads ( compare with IPB )
