If you read the topic you'll see that this is a problem that happens with the hack. We're waiting for the author to release the final version, hoping that it will be corrected then.

When trying to add a video with another account it says no permissions. Yes I have checked the permissions.

You need to go into the Video Gallery options under vBulletin Options and make sure that the usergroupid that you are trying to post videos under is included in the comma separated list of usergroups allowed to add videos.

I already did and it doesn't work.

Go to vb admin > usergroups and click on any usergroup to rebuild the permissions. Maybe this will help.

I did it again and it didn't work.

Make sure that the usergroup that you have is allowed to do everything except admin functions, and ensure that they are not included in the banned usergroup list.

As other people are not having this same problem, this must have something to do with a unique quality of your site.

hi, i had the issue with certain usergroups being unable to add. I made a usergroup called Video Mods and gave them full mod access and corrected the videogallery admin options to let them add videos but they couldn't the best way to resolve this that i found is go into the user you want to be able to have add the videos and make their primary group the group that can add videos for example, i had 1 registered user that i wanted to give special permissions to add videos (so i made video mod usergroup) if i left that user's primary usergroup as registered and added them to the video mod group they were unable to add videos. i had to change their primary usergroup to video mod and put their secondary usergroup as registered. hope that helps a bit.

now, i'm also unable to move categories, just comes up blank. i'm also having another issue, my videos that i'm uploading aren't loading in the correct order. is there a way to change the order that videos are displayed in inside a category?

Indeed it only works with primary usergroups. The permission system is very very simplistic in this mod, really it was only meant to ban the banned usergroup, allow video adding access to registered users, and give admin powers to administrators and moderators.

is there a way to change the display order of a video once it's been placed in the category? cuz mine are going all out of order when i start adding them (the videos that is)

The videos should be listed in two lists. One is listed from most recently added to least recently added, and the other is ordered from highest rated to lowest rated.

There is no way to change the order of the videos manually.

Is there any quick way to show the latest (one or more) videos in a module somewhere in the forums or in VBadvanced?

As this is classified as beta, is there any way that in the final release u can add it so that you can move the videos up or down inside a category? i really like this mod but with the amount of videos that would be a feature that would really be nice

the video counts are going crazy.. anyone wanna help me with that?

Just found a problem, my videogallery is huge... is there a form to show all the videos? or at least put them in alphabethic order??..

i think this is just becuase of it is still in beta mode.. once it stable i guess it be better a lot.
and beside please help me fix with the video counts...

I couldn't find any fix for the video counts. We're just waiting for the author to come up with the final version, hopefully it will be fixed there. For now, I just removed entirely the "video count" column :P

I re-installed the Mod and still can't add videos without being the Site Admin. I have another account that has Admin permissions but can't add any videos. Yes I have checked alll the permissions. Anyone?

vbulletin option ---> video gallery ---> add usergroup ID that able to upload

Already did that.

Double check your usergroup folder to see if permissions are correct to the correct user ID#

Fungsten, if you have say for example to users whom u want to be able to add videos and u have a group called "video mod" you have to make sure that usergroup is the MAIN group, (secondary can be registered or whatever) before you will be able to have that group upload videos. despite all the settings to allow certain groups to upload this only works if they are the primary usergroup.
