fly 04-19-2008 12:24 AM

Can anyone think of a way to make this NOT work for links back to the forum itself?

ArnyVee 04-28-2008 07:50 PM

Is there a reason why I would get this message?

Unable to add cookies, header already sent.
File: /home/avarona/domains/waltdisneyboards.com/public_html/includes/class_core.php
Line: 3075

I received it after I installed this mod and tested it in a post.

Edited: I also received some curl message (went by too fast to see it) as well. I guess that I'll wait for this one down the road sometime.

I did that too. but still its not working in my board. What can I do further more?

mariocaz 05-21-2008 12:35 AM

working like a charm in 3.7

Super Jinni 06-19-2008 01:52 AM

I'd like to use that, but someone said that this plugin does not check an URL for size, so if someone posts a link to a large file, it has the possibility of creating a load on the server..

is that so?

thanks

:)

bc3tech 06-19-2008 12:53 PM

just installed; am seeing this work when i link to an external board, but not when i link to another thread on my own board... any insight?

Peejay 07-11-2008 12:37 PM

Id love to see this work for internal threads as well as external threads too.

squishi 07-11-2008 07:07 PM

This is a great mod.
But also a performance killer, I suppose.

Da22Da 01-19-2009 05:53 PM

installed and working fine on 3.8.0 WoW
thanks alot

wideopen 05-01-2009 09:42 PM

This isn't working on 3.6.7 any ideas?

mdawg 05-09-2009 06:24 AM

Running 3.8.2 Had this installed for a little while. Works.

Only question is why it takes over most threads, and not others.

For example these URLS, it leaves the same as always:
http://www.ebaydropoffsites.net/
http://877isoldit.com/
http://letssellitonebay.com/

Try it, see if the same for you.

For example this one
http://www.ebay.com/
works fine - it converts it to: "eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices"

but the above three, the hack just leaves alone just like that.

Why?

Leo Brazil 01-06-2010 09:42 AM

Did someone test it on 4.0 ?

Hi,

I have searched but can't find a similar mod for VB 4.1.5

Does anyone know if this mod will work on v4.1.5? I don't want to break the forum by installing wrongly.

Thanks,
Dale.

Hi again,

Just tried to import that mod and got an error message that it isn't compatible with version 4.1.5.

Any other mod suggestions? Hopefully there is one for v4.x

The Add-On does not work in our Forum. Only when the first Administrator posts a link, it shows the title of the site. All other users, admins, moderators, etc. only get the normal Hyperlink. There is also a problem displaying "ä ö ü" ! Can you tell me how to fix our issue?

Nirjonadda 11-27-2012 08:11 PM

This mod does not work other usergroup on 4.1.10 ? How to fix ?

BirdOPrey5 01-12-2013 02:37 PM

There's nothing in this mod to change how it works per usergroup- my only guess is $vbulletin may not be global for some reason when an Admin isn't logged in.

Go to the Admin CP -> Plugin Manager -> and edit the TWO plugins for this mod.

At the very top of each of them add the line:

Code:

global $vbulletin;
That will force $vbulletin to be available.

Only thing I can think of.
