Okay, I tried this on my forum, and it was great until I gave someone an award. Then, once I did, going into any topic they had posted in would cause an error, but their profile would display it fine. I can provide a photo if needed.

Question:

I have working the 2.1.2 in our vB 3.6.5 (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=94836)

Do we really need to upgrade to this one?

Upgrade process?

Thanks in advance.

The boarder of the showcase in the user postbit fields is not showing!
Its not compatable with my forum applied design.

Anybody can help me change the font color of the boarder of the showcase?
or atleast remove it?

i just want to display the icons without any typings in the postbit.

thanks.

read awards_install_template.html and edit postbit/postbit_legacy templates

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but that didn't help at all.

No sorry, you mis-understood. I'm wondering which of your added templates needs to be edited to change it. Is it the award_showcase template?

Basically what I'm trying to do is change the way the awards are displayed in the post bit i.e remove the awards showcase box around them, have them display directly next to each other instead of spaced, and have them display automatically wrap 5 per line. Which template is it that controls the display? award_showcase?

yeah i want to this too, any idea how?

Danisty 04-07-2007 02:28 PM

Can anybody help me with this? Perhaps post the entire text that should be in the YAAS - Showthread_postbit_create plugin?

Im running: VBulletin 3.6.4

MikeHolohan 04-10-2007 05:55 PM

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to give an award to a usergroup rather that a single user... for example I have bronze supporter, silver supporter and gold supporter usergroups.

I created awards for each of these usergroups and wanted to assign an award to each usergroup, any ideas?

Mike.

First you need to "unzip" the file that you downloaded. Then, if you look inside the "Docs" folder you'll see installation instructions. Follow them step by step.

very nice product

I want to change Yes/No/Maybe options in poll to another words where I can found this words

Danisty 04-20-2007 08:19 AM

If I can't get some kind of feedback here I'm just going to uninstall this.

djchris 04-21-2007 05:40 AM

Am I right to say that for this mod, I allow members to vote, and then I see the results of the voters and award the winner?

If so, may I know, how do I view the results of the votes? I can't seem to find the results, and who voted..

Wanted to give a heads up.

When I installed this awards system, (which is great btw), I got this error:

Quote:

Database error in vBulletin 3.6.0:

Invalid SQL:

SELECT a.*, au.*, post.userid, post.postid
FROM post AS post
INNER JOIN award_user AS au ON (au.userid=post.userid)

WHERE 1=1
AND post.postid IN (0,1691,2180,2184,2185,2187,2188,2189,2190,2252,22 79,2280,2286,2327,2332,2333,2337,2338)

GROUP BY au.issue_id
ORDER BY au.issue_time DESC;

MySQL Error : Table 'setxapa2_forum.award_user' doesn't exist Error Number : 1146
Date : Friday, April 20th 2007 @ 04:59:56 PM
This happened because I had installed Nova Awards.

Fix:

1. Uninstall Nova Awards
2. Uninstall YAAS
3. Re-Install YAAS

Voila!

odinzu 04-21-2007 08:05 PM

Hey, I can't find this in the postbit template. Could someone help me out?

PHP Code:

                    <div>$post[icqicon$post[aimicon$post[msnicon$post[yahooicon]</div

Ayien 04-21-2007 09:18 PM

I recently downloaded this modification and installed it onto our forums. I followed the template editing to the word, however when I try to view someone's profile (let's say my own) I get a blank white page.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Edit: Disregard that, I fixed it. I made a small mistake in the MEMBERINFO template edit. Sorry.

Great modification by the way. Top notch.

Thanks for this hack , its really great we are designing a set of medals atm.

I got a question i implemented your hack here http://www.clanlife.eu
however the link request this award never showsup on award.php file even as it is enabled in the award settings when i call upon the award_request.php file it states "choose a medal first"

what would be the issue?

Thanks

How would one get this to work with regular postbit? (one that goes left to right across the top of each message)

And also, does this work with 3.6.4?
Thanks

I dont' want moderators have permission to give awards to user. How do we disable this. Is this simple not to upload or delete the file award.php in modcp folder? Is this the right way to do this.

Thank,

Both of the links in postbit and postbit_legacy (Award Showcase & Total Awards) take to the Member's profile, why?

*Installed* No problems, works great! Really appreciate it - Thanks a bunch!

Always, Bree
vB 3.6.5

EDIT: Not sure if it was just my style or not but in the awards_request_form template there was an extra:

HTML Code:

</td>
</tr>
</table>

Starting on line 116 I think. It was messing my page all up, I deleted it and all is better now. Again, that may be a prob with my template(skin) or smn, I dunno.

Aimee1969 05-11-2007 09:15 PM

I get this when i go to mod cp to give awards:

The requested URL /modcp/award.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

clicking on the medal (3) takes you to the 'awards showcase'....

so how can I tidy the look by deleting the spare links...text (1) and (2)

Thanks to any one who can explain how to do the 'edit'.

other than these few tweaks the mod works perfectly....well done developer.
