This has been like this for 2-3 days on and off. I have submitted it a few times and deleted it and resubmitted, but still no go.

My threads are forever stuck in queu for days. Why is this?

This mod is working great for me.

I do have a suggestion though...

Create a category for blogs where we can submit entries from our z local blog. ;)

I think this would be popular.

Those of you with threads stuck in the queue, please do the following:

1. Delete all the threads in your queue.

2. Upgrade to the newest version (if you haven't already).

There was a bug that would potentially cause what you folks are experiencing and that should resolve it.

I deleted the stuck threads, then updated all the files in ftp, then did an overwrite of product install and its still doing the same thing.

I'm gutted, coz i like this, but i will have to uninstall it if this dont work.

Any possible way not to affiliate with zoints.com and create own custom categories?

Reason: Christian forum, need to be carefull of what is shown on my site

Is it possible to update it so it doesn't add queries to showthread? Perhaps use hook showthread_query?

Didn't want to do it, but Uninstalled.

someone just told me that she was not able to access synergy at work.

Still quietly voting for a local, customisable version. I need a digg like system for rating collaborative stories that my members write. While many of them are great, I do not think they fit in any of the synergy categories, and I also prevent 'controversial' debates on my site, as we are limited to writing, specifically in a fantasy genre.

So the categories I need for these 'dugg collaborative stories' are - Romance, Action, Dark, Intrigue, Comedy, Noir

And so on.

Otherwise, looking good! Would probably install if my board had a more general audience!

I agree. This should be something internal of the forum only, customizable categories as well.

You are missing the point of this mod.

So you assume. You are wrong. I am not missing the point. I think its a great mod but I think the customizable options a few and I mentioned should be there, for each person's (forums) own reasons that apply.

and when I try registering my forum again, it says its already exsists.

Yet..I submitted it OVER a week ago..

Does that mod turn threads into articles? Does it change the url structure at all or just the templates? If it's just the templates, in theory, this should still work with it. Do you have it installed and it's not working?

While I thank you for the suggestion, that's not something we're interested in doing.

Well, I hope someone else is in the near future. For now I'm going to use vbDrupal and the vote up/down module from Drupal.

Unfortunatly it doesn't turn threads into articles. It is stand alone. The url structure is like this

Great mod but i wont install it until were a local version.

First of all my forum inst english, then incoming and outgoing threads wont be interesting for anyone.

I havent any ads to respect my visitors and i pay the forum server and a counter-strike server by donations, then i dont want to have threads of other forums that can be viewed as ads.

Is a very interesting addon... but if it were in local.

I'm having the same problem on my forum in that I'm submitting threads directly into the approved queue, and nothing is happening. The threads have stayed there for about 16 hours now... and the front page of Synergy (which is here for me) is completely blank.

I took a look in the "Scheduled Tasks" section in the Admin CP, and there's a Synergy task on there.

I tried updating this, and currently get:

Not necessarily, but the majority of content is in English.

BUG REPORT: When viewing a single post, you have an uncached template. :)

This does not occur when viewing a thread, just when looking at a SINGLE post.

Okay, but would I be able to choose only threads from an other language (e.g. german), so that all other languages would be filtered. And I also don't like the idea that it shows all categories. I only would like the system to show 1 category, e.g. any news about animals.

I really like this, but the posts in synergy count towards my forum statistics. I don't want them to. How can I fix this please? I already tried making posts not count for users in the synergy forum but that didn't work. I also updated the stats and that didn't work either.

Unfortunately that option is still bugged. Please accept my apologies.

I want to take this moment to offer my thoughts to other admins who may want to install this on their forums.

I had synergy installed from the first day it was released. I believed in DChapman, as he had sufficiently convinced me on Zoints through TheAdminZone.com. I heavily promoted the use of synergy through out my forums and supported it on other admin forums as I saw an immediate effect in my stats as far as referring websites and unique users.

I have the #1 top author on Synergy, as well as many in the top 20. As of 2 days ago, we were banned for an unexplained reason. The reason isn't so much the problem, it was the complete lack of customer service provided by the Zoints team. See, we were not informed of the banning. We were simply banned. The members start emailing my staff and my staff starts calling me asking me what is going on, and I have to offer up the "Hell if I know" response as I was away on business and had not received any kind of warning or email informing me of this action. So now, I have to explain to my members that our forum is no longer welcome on the synergy lists and that they need not waste their time browsing the system, as votes are no longer accepted from our forum.

My main reason I am posting this is not to +++++ or complain, they have a zero tolerance policy and will not re-institute a banned forum, my point is to inform other forum owners that they should consider this when they make the choice to download and install or not. While they can sell you on their product just fine, when it comes down to providing even the smallest courtesy as an email, or warning to allow you to adjust what ever infraction has caused a negative light on your forum, they lack and in a serious way.

I am frankly shocked and I will be removing all Zoints modifications from my forums. I do not appreciate the embarrassment of having to deal with my members and not have an answer to give them.
