our site is currently having the phpbbgarage mod ported by a member on here for a paid sum. When the mod is complete and provided the member porting the software has no problems with making it available to you guys then I have no problems making this software available to others as well.

robhole 07-17-2008 03:23 AM

I'm so down for this as well... had phpBBGarage on my site and members loved it until the site was hacked and I had to go to a later version of phpBB which could not support garage. (from phpbb2 to 3.)... *** Removed, if you want to pay to have a modification developed, please post in Requests For Paid Services ***

That would be amazing - I know myself and am sure others on here would be happy to assist with the fee if need be. I know there is a request for a paid job going unanswered for this as well so hopefully your request is completed! Thank you for your willingness to share!

Pretty sad, actually, as the timeslip database is so basic compared to the garage module. Maybe one of these years, I'll get a chance to start working on my port of it....

The timeslip db should actually be incorporated into whatever garage is made, it shouldn't be that difficult to add another section to someone who is skilled.

wottech 07-26-2008 08:59 PM

If the Fusion Scripts module is ported over to vB, then it already has a timeslip database built into it.

just like to add to my previous post.. it is looking like we have been taken for a ride :( the rest of my clubs admin are trying to resolve it as we speak

Oh boy! I have subscribed to this thread!

I am in the process of converting my car-related website over to vBulletin from phpBB, but I am doing some research first so that I have a lot of the same features for my members.

The most favorite mod I have is phpBB Garage.

I am waiting with baited breath to see what develops here.

Although the guy at dodgetalk have not responded to one of the members in this thread, I am going to give it a shot. I will let you know what I find out.

Good luck, I thought the same and contacted both DodgeTalk and FordForums without luck. You might also want to subscribe to this thread as e1320.com seems to be making the most progress : https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...=143638&page=3

ErnieTheMilk 08-03-2008 06:21 PM

I think I'll subscribe to this thread as another one that wants some kind of garage!

Jheroen 08-26-2008 10:28 AM

I want to know which way this product is going, :D

Snkypete 08-26-2008 11:07 AM

There are about a dozen of us who have the garage functioning and installed on our servers - here is my site :

http://www.lmmc-ct.com/forums/garage.php

So far support has been great from the developer!

robhole 08-26-2008 07:08 PM

My site:

http://www.g5club.net/forum/garage.php

Operational and working great. The support from the developer is great too. There has been a few bugs, I mention it to the developer and he has it fixed within a couple hours/posted for everyone to download a new version. Every version I download, comes with a few extra features too. Members love it and within a day, already had 20 vehicles created by Premium Members (paid group access only), I didn't even need to say anything about it either! I'll say great work!!! Now I have an announcement on the home page. Members love it since we had it with phpBB but lost it after going to vBulletin. Love vBulletin but it was lacking that garage feature which we now have and love!!! :)

Great modification!!! HIGHLY recommended for ANYONE who has any type of automotive/vehicle type forums/site.

the_raverX 08-27-2008 01:58 AM

yes we've got it going at www.qldsupraclub.com/forum/garage.php as well (must be a member to use) and it's coming along nicely

it's still early days for the product (as the developer admits) but his enthusiasm and keenness to fix problems and investigate the options that people want is excellent..

it's not a 1:1 copy of phpGarage/Fusion Scripts, but it's a damn good product .. well worth checking out..

directprint 09-02-2008 09:22 PM

This is one great product, I am using it for bikes and could not have asked for a better product to make some slight changes to names of off you go, this product would adapt to any type of garage you wanted, drag cars, racing cars, racing bikes etc...

As this product is in it's infant stages, you will find the gargage doesn't appear that way, and the support that is offered by the coder is 110%.

Take a look for yourself, http://www.bikesandscooters.com.au/forum/garage.php , I will be making some dark button soon, but layout etc is very good.

xXLeighXx2008 09-02-2008 10:08 PM

Looks good.

I am also making a garage mod that integrates with vBMA

ArchangelX 09-02-2008 11:12 PM

Where'd you find the link?

Is it a simple install yet, or are there modifications? If modifying needs done, anyone want to make a little side $$?

If it's just a simple plugin install, i can do that. (time permitted)

PlayfulGod 09-12-2008 03:18 PM

+1 where are the links to get this???

Great, been looking for a suitable replacement to the phpbbgarage for ages and finally it looks like I have found it

No pricing or ways to purchase it on the site, so I have contacted them

--------------- Added [DATE]1224742097[/DATE] at [TIME]1224742097[/TIME] ---------------

Got it installed and it works a treat

porcupine73 12-14-2008 11:03 PM

Just purchased and installed. Yes this should be a nice addition to the board! I'm running vb 3.7.4 not sure if there will be any issues, but I was able to add vehicles easily so far.... http://ozscience.com/forums/garage.php

Any tips/ideas on if VBSEO can process the garage pages and include them in the sitemaps? :D

SM_Rob 01-17-2009 05:18 PM

Installed onto my new forum as I used phpGarage a lot in the past. Dare I ask: has anyone looked into creating a portal module for random vehicles? Would be handy as again was a setup I had with phpBB.
