It only shows a few default options. To show the entire contents of the UserCP menu, you'd have to add the missing items manually, which isn't all that hard anyway :)
|
Thanks this looks great.
|
I had a problem... when I installed this it disappeared the options related to the private messages!

I suggest going through the instructions again ... maybe you overlooked something. |

Thanks for a great hack! |
I am using 3.60. The only way I could get the private messages to display is by removing all the 3 if conditions, and again it does not display right
|
What dosen't get displayed right??
*EDIT Oh sent items and view all :) |
OK, I got it, me stupid who does not read instructions. I skipped the nav_folderbit. All is fine now. However I had to remove all 3 if conditions in PM
|
Mine did look like that as well I remember.
Untill I did all the edits :) |

Looks amazing!
I did have the same problem as a few other people here, though. I assumed that all the template edits were in one text file, so I only did one of the edits required. Any reason for the two separate txt files? It's just kind of confusing. Anyway, best mod EVER. You get my vote for MOTM! |
One of the text file is a complete replacement of the USERCP_SHELL template (USERCP_SHELL_REPLACE.txt).
Separating it into it's own file makes it easier to copy (CTRL+a). thank you |
Wow!! Very nice!
|
going through and finding all those template edits made me feel like I had vb 3.0 again.. But I managed, and it looks good! Thanks!
Clicking install now |

Thanks Princeton and since you are admin here, can we count that this mod will be standard for the next releases? :) |
nice system thanks for sharing :D, you've done a great job with systems on this site as well :D
|
:-) good stuff. going to add it tomorrow.
|
Hi
Should I see this when I click on User CP? Or should I see it when I click on User CP - User Control Panel? Just that it only displays when I click on User CP - User Control Panel |
it should be visible throughout the USERCP area ... it should work exactly how it is here (vb.org)
|
thx nice mod
|
Great installed ..piece of cake
Peter |
I just noticed that all of my styles after installed this mod has this small problem
in the picture here, the Inbox should not have a drop down arrow. Vb.org does not have an drop down arrow. I have seen other sites installing this and they have the same problem. It seems to me Princeton forgot to include some intruction in his mod. http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/5757/pmkb9.jpg |
thank you Quantnet.org,
I've updated the files and sent the fix to all the "installers". |
Can't find the text that it says to find

Thanks for the update, i noticed this problem

What is the second template that needs editing?
FIND IN pm_messagelist: HTML Code:
$vbphrase[private_messages_in_folder]<span class="normal">: <span id="nav_pmfolders.listinfo">$foldername<script type="text/javascript"> vbmenu_register("nav_pmfolders.listinfo"); </script></span></span> HTML Code:
$vbphrase[private_messages_in_folder]<span class="normal">: $foldername</span> HTML Code:
$vbphrase[private_messages_in_folder]<span class="normal">: <span id="nav_pmfolders.messagelist">$foldername<script type="text/javascript"> vbmenu_register("nav_pmfolders.messagelist"); </script></span></span> HTML Code:
$vbphrase[private_messages_in_folder]<span class="normal">: $foldername</span> |
In a default vbulletin style, you will find 2 instances of the above in the same template. They are slightly different.
|
There are other instances of the drop down arrow showing - subscribed threads pages.
|
I applied the template edits and it seemed to have caused one of the line borders to thicken. Any way to correct this?
|

Thanks for the updates, Princeton
It works. |
GTUserCP_README Instructions = Version: 1.0.0 and not 1.0.2; no specific UPDATE instructions given; might not be easy for some novice users.

Hi
In your "USERCP_SHELL_REPLACE" you have 2 hard coded phrases that should be replaced with the existing vB Phrases: line 30: Compose Message -> $vbphrase[compose_message] line 53: View All -> $vbphrase[view_all] Greetings StarBuG |
Hi, you should add the 'Edit Avatar' link under 'Edit Options'
|
Looks interesting, thanks i'll try it! :)
|
Quote:
Use this for standard vB phrases: line 30: Compose Message -> $vbphrase[send_new_message] line 53: View All -> $vbphrase[view_all_subscribed_threads] |
