It is clickable, and links back to index.php

That got me, too. The text is, but not the vB. logo itself.

simsimt 01-07-2007 10:49 PM

I can't imagine there will be anything vB stock, maybe things are still in the works?

As I said, I like the new change, but there are some good feedback that should be listened to.

sebbe 01-07-2007 10:49 PM

The redirecting pages are still using the width of the fixed style even if set to fluid in User CP. Minor fix but still, looks bad.

d8tabyte 01-07-2007 10:50 PM

NICE

Very nice style!

toonysnn 01-07-2007 10:50 PM

TCattitude 01-07-2007 10:56 PM

Cool update.
Congratulations for the coding, design and all the people behind this awesome work.

vb.org is back to life!

Eagle Creek 01-07-2007 11:13 PM

Aaah?? This sytle?!! I want to have the blue one back, but I guess that won't happen. But can you guys put at least a LIQUID style into it??

With all respect for the efforts but.. I have a large screen resolution, but I only use 50% right now.. I think it's enoying :(.

You can change from fixed to liquid in edit options

Look in your Profile Options :)

Default Style Width
If you prefer a liquid (wider) layout, over the fixed-width layout, you can now switch by checking the option below.
I just found it.. I like the new skin, I really do!

When I go to, https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/index.php, I don't see the modification forums... Where did they go???

You can access them in the tab "Mods" in the header.

Eagle Creek 01-07-2007 11:22 PM

Wow... The skin, the functions, the... everything man... It's very VERY nice and I already like it. I know I discovered not even 50% of it I guess, but I still like it.

Well done everybody who worked on this!

Yes, I'm quoting myself.

Anyone...? Anyone...? Bueller...?

Kirk Y 01-07-2007 11:31 PM

Wow... talk about overwhelming, I'll be half an hour finding everything that's changed. Not too bad I say, it reminds me a lot of vBulletin.com. I especially like the "Red Rum" style... lol, who came up with that title?

If I had to suggest something, it'd be that some custom buttons are made -- no offense to the stock buttons. ;)
Also, I think our User Titles could use a little work... they look really bland.

PS: Is there some thread that explains all the new features? Like what is this "Donation Options" field in our UserCP?
PSS: It's nice to see that we can now use colors! Yipee!

As far as I know, no, I've never seen it released.

Booth 01-07-2007 11:46 PM

I really like it and far prefer it to the old look site :)

I think the header works far better than the default VB header. Wish my site was like that, who designed it?

Doh!

Okay I'm not above begging but I'd rather just bribe you. Whatdya say? :D

Ntfu2 01-08-2007 12:10 AM

I have to agree, im not that impressed. I wanted to browse around and see how everything looked, but its not all that great.

No custom buttons, Not a big deal but then what took so long to roll it out? Most the variations are simple CSS color changes that a 12 year old could have made. Good idea gone horribly wrong. I really dont see that many additions or changes that were talked about unless i'm missing them some where?

On a positive note though, glad to see changes finally happening and the community being listened to!

Kirk Y 01-08-2007 12:13 AM

I think the changes to the Modification Thread layouts most wowed me.

Brandon Sheley 01-08-2007 03:51 AM

the new style looks good :)

great job to the staff

Distance 01-08-2007 05:43 AM

Will you lot stop moaning!! You can clearly see they have been workin there ass off

I love it!!

Darat 01-08-2007 05:49 AM

Overall very nice . Really like the header, breadcrumb and navbar customization.

TrIn@dOr 01-08-2007 12:07 PM

Very nice, but where is the "Show installed hacks" link? :D

Eagle Creek 01-08-2007 12:09 PM

<a href="https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/vborg_miscactions.php?do=showinstalledhacks" target="_blank">https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/vborg...installedhacks</a>

In the profile dropdown.

TosaInu 01-08-2007 12:56 PM

Looks nice.

captainslater 01-08-2007 04:46 PM

Nice new style. Congratulations to the whole team for the changes :)

Hoffi 01-08-2007 05:02 PM

Really good looking Style that looks more professional.

Great!

Billspaintball 01-09-2007 03:26 AM

When I first read the announcement about a new style my initial thoughts were that there was a lot of other stuff that should have been done first.

Now that Ive seen it, Ive changed my mind.
Besides being batter layed out, better presented and having a nice logical structure, it is soooooo much faster for me.
Easy 4 times faster for page loads! :D

Made a painful browsing experience fun again :)

simsimt 01-09-2007 10:12 AM

Shouldn't the 'V' in the logo be small? vBULLETIN MODS that it should be.

quasan 01-10-2007 11:08 AM

no fullscreen mode??

peterska2 01-10-2007 11:10 AM

User CP > Options > Down the bottom is the option to use a fluid width instead of fixed width.

cyberphr 01-10-2007 03:03 PM

It'll be hard to get used to, but I like it. :)

Large images stretch the post outside of .page, maybe the scroll hack would be useful? :p

WoodiE 01-10-2007 05:20 PM

I LOVE IT! The new design is just wonderful. I really like all the user options, set it the way I want it, very nice!

How hard is it to give these same options to users on my board?

Change the width in usercp

Gaia 01-16-2007 06:04 PM

I love the new design/look. Good job with it.

Talisman 03-22-2007 08:40 AM

Now that the exclusive vB.org "dark blue" design has been discarded, can we <finally> get permission to use it at our own forums -- either for free or by purchase?

Marco van Herwaarden 03-22-2007 09:23 AM

Nope. All our styles have been modified a lot to work with our specific modifications and would not work on standard boards.
