Anyone know how to remove the comment button? I want to use this but do not want the comment system in place do to the unfixed errors.

I sure as hell hope not. He had to hire a coder to finish his other hack, so maybe he doesn't have much time for this any more... I really want this vBblog add-on though, so let's hope he hasn't abandoned it.

I guess I'll have to remove this until it's fixed. Great mod though as long as you don't try and use attachments.

Yes that is the major problem. This hack should never have been posted till the code was finished. The parts he added need to be removed till it's fixed.

I had 2 sites that this hack would have been well used.

Uninstalled.

Decided to go with a commercial product. vBlogetin.

Will keep looking for this to be finished in the future.

This is still in Beta stage, which means it is full of bugs :D :D

Firstly plz fix all the bugs/uncached template

Some Request:
-Image/Avtar thumnail for each Blog.
-Last Blog entry will shown at Bloglisting page.
-Ability to link external blog -MySpace etc.
-Intigration with flickr.
-Add users blog link at users profile.

I have installed this and it seems to work okay except I thought there was a way it oculd be protected as in password and I've tested it with a test account I have and the only way it can be protected is if you go to the forum manager and do it yourself. Is there not an option for the AUTHOR of the journal to set this themselves so that they can set it to that ?? And, are you suppose to have permissions for usergroups ?? How are you suppose to specify the blogs with users, kwim ??

I will rebuild this from scratch. I developed a totally new datamanager for this mod, but in my later developments I learned that wasn't needed at all.

So I will try again and make it better. However, the blog option will go. It will be a pure Diary mod as that is what my users want.

Could you please provide me with an example of the best Diary layout?

So I will redevelop the mod from scratch. However, I need some feedback on how a diary should look.

I am not a diary writer myself at all, so I can't really imagine what would be nice to have and how it should look and function.

Is there any diary service on the internet with 100.000+ users?
