Sorry, but I've added so many feautures in the commercial version that's it's nearly impossible. I'm saying "nearly" as I'll take care for this, this evening to see if I can have it as upgrade.

I'm still getting errors while tryiing to import the product. Can you tell me what tables I need to drop from my database to completly remove the mod and install again from scratch?

3.- Need to ALTER table usergroup, running a query:
ALTER TABLE xxxxusergroup DROP vbhotornot
xxxx = The prefix that you've in your vb installation

be careful with the premium version of this thing.
everybody's email is wide open for all to see in a view source. And if you complain to the coder about it, you get banned.

1.- There is no premium version of this "thing". vbHotOrNot has just one version this one that is posted here. There is a 100% different module with different name with different options and 100% incompatible for upgrade from this "thing". This is just a Male/Female rating script while the other is a General Photo rating script.
2.- I didn't banned your from my forums because you did complains. I banned you because you used abusive language for me. Except if in your daily life to call a woman "stuborn" in public, or "acting as a 9yo child" are good words. And all these because I use my own way on programming different from the way that Mr Lionel is using.

This error message comes becuase you CMOD wrong or not all needed directories. 3 directories must be CMOD 777 (execute, read, write from all)
vbhotornot/photos
vbhotornot/tmp
vbhotornot/photos/thumbs

Installed and works perfect

I did have to edit the product xml for a spelling mistake with hot or not ?

forgive me as i am an amatuer with web coding etc...what i have done is created the above folders in the vbhotornot directory on my server...is that what i am supposed to do or is there something else?

You're wrong. You're doing something wrong. Except if you're trying to see photos your photos. You can't see (and rate) your photos. Otherwise all photos appear normally.

When I post it here, it had 100% of the features. Later I added a lot more (that's why I change the name too), but I don't plan to post any update here as long as 98% of those who installed it have removed my copyright. It's not fair that they don't want even to give me in exchange for my work a small advertisment. And believe me I know very well who and where has installed it. Here it says xx only installs while there are more than 300!.

If your server is Linux and if you know to use any FTP client (most probably as you already uploaded the files), then right click on that folder name, choose properties and then check all checkboxes (must be nine).
Do it for all 3 directories that I wrote before.

ahh ok...gotcha...

ive now done that...uploaded a photo but it doesnt show up on the screen...it shows in the newest photo part and in "my photos" but the main hot or not page is blank

If I understood well from the directory name, are you running on a Windows server? In that point the script is trying to upload the photo. In a Linux server the problem should be that there are no write permissions at the directory (CMOD 777). In a Windows servers you must check how to set permissions execite/read/write by all.
There are 3 directories that must have these permissions:
/photos
/tmp
/photos/thumbs

I run under win server 2003 enterprise
It's dedicaced server

Are you sure that there is a directory /tmp under /vbhotornot ? NOT under /photos. Actually resizing is taken action before uploading. At that time script needs to find this /tmp (temporary) directory to use it before upload the photo.

So the tmp images has been created but when the script tried to move it to store location it didn't found it:rolleyes: You dont have the directory:
.\forum\vbhotornot\photos\thumbs when thumbnails are stored. It also must be cmod 777

I have all folder and all is cmod 777

Have you checked if there ara any files in folders:
/photos
/photos/thumbs
?
In any case, since the script is creating the temporary file seems that it works. Just, it can't move the created files and this is 100% a wrong permissions status. That's why the temporary file still exists. If it can move the created files then, it auto delete.
I haven't deal with win servers, but I know that there is a different way to cmod them than like in Linux.
