How do you feel about adding extra options to this hack like a donators list with their nicknames and amount donated.

Even a wiki-like green moneybar on forumhome, think about how great that would look on you hack and how this can make you more money :)

Confused! Paypal offers an option to pay and recieve money trough bank accountnumbers instead of creditcards but when someone wants to donate there's a page with only visa/mastercard info....or do i overlook something?

no it wont matter, i dont even have a vb default, i have only 3 custom styles

Im getting this error from paypal:

You link it in your admin panel through Vbulletin, use your paypal email addy

ADMIN PANEL ---> Payment Subscriptions ---> Payment API Manager

Go to your paypal account and fix the money type there

No matter what this plugin has stopped working, all I get over and over is this:

I've been using the correct email over and over and over, I can even send payments to myself using paypal, but not using the donations module without getting that response.

Could someone compare and contrast this mode to vb Paid Subscriptions?

I see that this can have a user selected amount, but i don't see anything about changing the user's usersgroup and a duration.

but its hard when u have many donators ..

v3.1 - Mar 03. 2007.
-New: Usergroup-based permissions (set who can use donate system)
-Fix: Guests now can see Donate link in NavBar (if usergroup 1 is not blocked in above function)
-New: Added Subscriptions (durations adjusted in ACP, can be disabled)
-New: Changed from "index.php?do=donate" to "misc.php?do=donate" (Update your custom links!))
-New: Unlimited number of donate options (list amounts in one line, separate with commas)
-Few other functionality and make-up changes...

To upgrade:
-Import product XML, allow overwrite.
-Update options in AdminCP > vBulletin Options > Cyb - PayPal Donate

I got the same error as you when it came to the add-on, i'd love to have that to recognize the people donating

Tried the upgrade. doesnt show in the navbar. tried the Template edit and it showed the code
$cyb_paypal_donate_link as the link. Uninstalled it and reuploaded 3.0.
Works fine.

after upgrade i have 2problem : in navbar i see this " $vbphrase[cybpaypal_donate] " instead of Donate and when i was clicked on it i get " PAGE NOT FOUND "

I see a difference in the instructions. but i dont see that that would make a difference only on placement. In the description above it says to put the code after"vbphrase[faq]</a></td>" OPTIONAL (for some customized styles)
Open template "navbar" and add "$cyb_paypal_donate_link" after "vbphrase[faq]</a></td>" but the downloded zip instructions say to put it after this code in the template. "vbphrase[user_cp]</a></td>"

When I visit your site and click the donate link and select subscription, click setup subscription, it brings me to an error page at paypal. Not sure if this has been mentioned......

This is not add-on for any other hack and I don't know for any hack which is add-on for Cyb - PayPal Donate. I don't know why that hack is listed here... :confused: I'll contact forum moderators to check it.

About this error mentioned by Smoothie's - for some reason it doesn't work when you choose "1 month" for subscription duration. Not sure why it happens but will check this...

Edit: That add-on was released by some user but removed later. Fixed now by Paul M...

3.1 worked nice on my test board but my live board has the advanced navbar making the custom template more difficult to implement it. at least for me.

well, hopefully when the kinks get worked out I'll install the new version. Still running version 3.0
