Mythotical 04-29-2008 03:57 PM

mrkhm: did you make sure you have subscriptions enabled for the guest and registered user?

sunnylikbeckham 05-27-2008 10:14 AM

can u add of free registeration feture in it??
i mean one usergrup with limited acess (free) other paid with full acess

Mythotical 05-27-2008 03:40 PM

Like I said before, all that is handled via subscriptions, all my mod does is redirect to the subscription page where they choose either to go free, paid, etc.

Installed but getting the 404 error

How do I make sure i have subscriptions enabled for the guest and registered user?

Mythotical 06-04-2008 01:29 AM

Subscription Permissions

Its right under the link for viewing subscriptions.

I am obviously doing something wrong. I have installed heaps of mods but am just missing something with this one. Is it possible to get someone to install this for me, happy to pay.

I would like something like the sprintusers site, giving people the free or paid option when they register.

Gripemaster 06-25-2008 04:07 PM

I have some questions...

I am going to be opening a motorsports related forum/super center, very large and very involved. Ads, job postings, resume postings, blogging, image hosting, the works. It will be the newest version of VB and VB Blog. All still in the planning stages. My goal is to have anyone be able to register, but in order to access the premium areas of the site they must purchase a membership.

I REALLY like the option for the free membership or paid membership when registering. Is that an option with this version?

My one concern is the "Email verification must be turned off"... that is one of the things I like most to keep spammers, vermin, etc out. Is there a way around this?

I looked around and didn't find any other mods for registration payments.

Thanks in advance for your help.

GetWebHost 07-17-2008 11:23 AM

I think the 404 error here is not yet solved.

My forum is at http://www.mydomain.com/forum. After test registration, I'm redirected to http://www.mydomain.com/payments.php which cause the 404 error. It should be http://www.mydomain.com/forum/payments.php

Any help?

Mythotical 07-17-2008 09:16 PM

Gripemaster: Sorry but right now the mod only works with email registrations turned off.

GetWebHost: Open up the plugin for the mod and change the path.

GetWebHost 07-18-2008 12:40 AM

Yeah I just change the bburl variable to absolute path of my forum.

Btw, what if a redirection is made after email ad verification, would it be possible?

Fly_MK 07-18-2008 08:46 PM

I'd like set it up to do exactly what SprintUsers.com has. For me, it's the perfect solution...

How do you install this script? I downloaded the XML document but have no clue where to go from here.

Thanks

Steve do you think this will work on the new version 4.0

Mythotical 01-04-2010 08:13 PM

I can honestly say no it won't. I still have not gotten anywhere with updating my mods to 4.0 as of yet.

merk_aus 04-17-2010 02:32 AM

Have you had any luck towards moving this towards 4.0

Mythotical 04-17-2010 03:32 AM

Nope I sure haven't, other mods of mine have kept me busy.
