....... To anyone, I installed ibPro arcade and followed the installation instructions included in the zip file, then I ran the converter and it went well, but the arcade won't open. I should say though, that the converter did tell me to see if the arcade would open and let me play a game first, and it wouldn't, but I thought it was because both arcades were there. It just says not found, it's a generic message, not an error with information that I can post here. I also ended up with two links to the arcade in the navbar, and both took me to v3 before I uninstalled v3, now it gives me the not found message. Then I took the install instructions to the v3 arcade installation and reversed it - taking out and changing back the code that I changed when I installed it... and it still won't open. I do have high scores scrolling over the persons details in posts, but there are two identical rows scrolling the same information. I would have just removed v3 before installing ibPro, but I wanted to save the scores if I could. I should also say, I tried to install ibPro when I first opened my site a two years ago and I couldn't get it installed then either, which is why I went with v3. I am running the newest vBulletin and my sql5. Any suggestions? I could sure use some help. Thanks. |
did you upload all files ? is arcade.php in your forum's root ?

Oh thanks for the reminder.. it looked like it was there, but when I upped it from the cp instead of the ftp proggy, the arcade showed up.. I've been having probs uploading lately so that was the trick. Thanks so much!
Oh, one more thing.. I still have the double scrolling high scores.. where do I look to get rid of that code? |

I have V3 arcade product plugin still on my site, when I tried to uninstaled it , it wont allow me to do.
The converter does not find any data for V3acade in my database. I am currently running Ibproarcade 2.66+ the v3arcade product is v3 Arcade 1.05 , any ideas on how to remove the v3 Arcade product ? |
run converter and click "uninstall v3arcade" there are instructions about which files to remove ect

hmmm, the converter aborts the uninstalling.
The only thing installed from v3arcade is the product which I cant remove I remember having v3arcade installed on my site for about 1 or 2 weeks, then I found ibProArcade, I installed it and never looked back. I think I might have removed the files for v3arcade without actually uninstalling but I cant remember since it has been so long ago. |
Install and converter work perfectly.
But it did not convert over the categories. I realize that it's not part of the converter process yet, but does anyone have any code or something I can use to move the categories over? I hate to go through six hundred plus games all over again... Mr Z, awesome job. good luck with the new addtion! |
I am running 3.6 with V3A wanting to convert to IPB and VB3.7. I'm wondering if I should do the IPB conversion before doing a 3.7 upgrade. Any comments?

Running 3.5.3, but thinking of switching to 3.72 soon. Would this tool work to convert v3 to ibProArcade on the 3.72 platform or this strictly for 3.5/3.6?
Or would the move from v3 to ibProArcade be recommended while I'm on the 3.5.3 version of vBulletin *after* which I could upgrade to 3.72 and not encounter an issue? |
The converter works for all versions of vBulletin, so no matter what you do first

Hi,
I had v3arcade 3.0.9 and vbulletin 3.8.2, I used the converter and the conversion worked good but i have a problem.....it doesn't save the score..When I click on "Submit Score" it returns in arcade hompage...how can i fix this? EDIT: It saves 1 games and don't save 8 games....the only game is Chopper Challenge It saves score games integrated, the score of the game which was in v3arcade it doesn't save PS: Sorry for my english I solved deleting v3arcade. |
I installed the arcade and checked that it was working, it was, I then ran the converter and uninstalled v3arcade. I then deleted the v3arcade files.
I now get this error when accessing the arcade: Note: User 1824 was the current arcade champion. Quote:

Converted games from v3arcade suffer from the 'Score not saved problem' but newly uploaded ones from .tar files are fine. Any suggestions as to a fix ?

Hi, I have ibProArcade installed since 1 year now and when I uninstalled v3arcade back in the day it didn't fully uninstall... the error it gives me is this:
Invalid SQL: ALTER TABLE usergroup DROP arcadepermissions; MySQL Error : Can't DROP 'arcadepermissions'; check that column/key exists Error Number : 1091 |
sorry, but I can not give support to v3arcade and its uninstallation... as I don't use v3arcade ;)

2 questions #1 does this not uninstall v3 arcade?...i have v3 arcade 2.0 n there game selection is so weak.....im looking to go to ibproarcade but if it doesnt uninstall v3 arcade im kind of confused on how the converter works......all i want to be able to do is add games that i have the folders for....
#2 i have vbull 3.8.4 and v3 arcade 2.0...if i run this it will turn v3 arcade into ibproarcade without losing games and scores? |

Conversion aborted. i made sure that my ibp was off and that followed all directions....imma just uninstall v3 totally hope i can get the games back i had - dont care about the high scores - but still get this error thru ibp that i posted in the other 3 sections and no one has a fix for :( whenever i enable the xml file in the plugins n products i get this error Invalid SQL: SELECT t.champion, u.userid FROM vb_tournaments AS t LEFT JOIN vb_user AS u ON (t.champion = u.username) WHERE champion<>''; MySQL Error : Illegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) and (latin1_general_ci,IMPLICIT) for operation '=' Error Number : 1267 when i disable it it goes away...any help? website is www.360icons.com if that helps? |

Ok, managed to find the link, but have no idea why it's not in my admin cp...something I'll probably figure out at some point. :rolleyes:
Anyway, I've attached my converter.php, but please, please, please backup your database before using it as I'm not a programer and know very little about...well, anything really! :erm: |
