I'm actually not sure on that. It would appear as though others are having issues with putting a space between the forum categories. I'll see if I can find a way to do it, but you can try looking here for help too.

I got spaces to work just fine inbetween my categories using the template edit method of seperate forum home categories

evenmonkeys 08-18-2006 09:15 AM

Is that the modifcation I specified in my post above yours? Or did you do that yourself?

GreysAnatomy 08-18-2006 12:26 PM

I didn't take it. I just wanted to let you know that it's a nice name you chose here. Kirsch is German and it means cherry liqueur. Cheers!

But you probably knew that already.

evenmonkeys 08-18-2006 04:59 PM

Actually, I did not know that. Kirsch is actually the last name of the other designer for this style. Hence Andrew K.

I am getting a problem when I insert a table in between posts. The table shows but it is not flush with the other posts surrounding it (it's indented). I tried updating the width property but the right side extends outward passed the posts and distorts the page.

The part in my postbit_legacy bit looks like this:

Code:

<if condition="!is_member_of($bbuserinfo, 5, 6, 7, 22)">
<if condition="$post[postcount] == 1">

$spacer_open
<div style="padding:0px 0px $stylevar[cellpadding]px 0px">

<table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]" border="0" width="100%" align="center">
<tr>
        <td class="thead" align="left">Sponsored Links</td>
</tr>
<tr>
        <td class="alt1" align="center">
                *****OMITTED*****
        </td>
</tr>
</table>

</div>
$spacer_close

</if>
</if>

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Anyone got a good gradient for the category strips? The stock is a little too light for me. Any recommendations?

Mattikana 08-31-2006 11:04 AM

misc/expires.gif is missing ;)

i finally upgraded to 360.. i had so many hacks i lost my whole board.. i was devestated... but im back up..and the first thing i went looking for?? your latest style!. this one is the best out there... its light, but filled with the amenities all good forums need.. you are a philanthropist! this theme is worth paying for!
thanks for your work!!

evenmonkeys 09-05-2006 07:21 PM

Haha. Thank you very much. Can't talk all the credit though. The real author of the style is Andrew K. I just keep it updated and working. He's always had the eye for what looks good.

Glad so many people like it. There'll be an update probably today or tomorrow though. I left out a couple pieces, but it shouldn't be more than a single template edit and/or an image here or there I forgot. =P

davelacey 09-06-2006 09:36 PM

Great style.
Thankyou. :)

Jorrit787 09-12-2006 11:50 PM

Something seems to be wrong with the buttons on my Quick Reply box in the Fixed style... Any idea what it could be?

evenmonkeys 09-13-2006 05:52 AM

What's wrong with it? Are you referring to how it's not showing up? Or something else?

johon 09-13-2006 09:19 AM

* Installed *

Very nice style, thanks a lot, Yarub :up:

If you want to offer german buttons too: I made some for my forum and can send it to you, if you want.

None of the buttons on the toolbar are showing up.

evenmonkeys 09-13-2006 08:21 PM

Please take a screenshot for me as it looks as they everything's working on my end. I'm not seeing what you're referring to.

Here it is :)

evenmonkeys 09-14-2006 05:51 AM

Ah. First, how did you install the style? When did you install it? Secondly, check where the image folder is. It could be that your folder is not resent or in the wrong place.

cyberlife 09-14-2006 08:57 AM

how about vb 3.6.1 ? :)

Yep, wrong link in the style manager - Sorry :cross-eyed: Thanks for the help!

evenmonkeys 09-15-2006 08:42 AM

Haha. No problem. At least it was simple, and didn't really require anything difficult.

The_VarMaster 09-15-2006 07:03 PM

Please, add an .psd for multiquote_on.gif button - i cant translate it to russian otherwise.

evenmonkeys 09-15-2006 10:06 PM

The small_buttons.psd is what I used to create the multiquote button. Then just create a new layer overtop of it, set it to color, and then fill it with red. I do not have the original psd used to make the multiquote button anymore.

Edit: I made something real quick, but I'm not 100% sure if it matches.

evenmonkeys 09-19-2006 06:17 AM

I'm sure it's a direct modification to the postbit template. I don't go that far into the modifications of styles. =\

radarhunter 09-19-2006 06:22 AM

but still if may i ask you that where i can find such a stuff ???

beishe8 09-19-2006 06:27 AM

Hi Yarub,

My web host does not accept spaces in the file names.
I failed to upload the "Kirsch vB360" folder.

I did change the folder name from "Kirsch vB360" to "Kirsch_vB360"
This way I could upload all the files to the "images" folder.

What is the next step to install your style?
Go ahead as it is or there is something to be done with some of the php files?

Wait for a new release?

Regards,beishe8

Edit : Installed,disaster

It's just a matter of finding the modification. vBulletin.org may have it. They may not have it. Your best chances are to contact the owner of the forum to see if s/he can tell you where they got it.

You do not want to upload that folder. You want to upload the folder labeled "kirsch" which is located:

Kirsch vB360.zip\Kirsch vB360\images\kirsch

Upload the kirsch folder to the images directory and that's all.

no but such a hack can be installed on any skin naa

so that`s the reason i want it to get the hack

it can modify any skin

i asked the forum people but they are not ready to tell me anything.

so if you can help me out with it then i`ll be highly obliged

evenmonkeys 09-20-2006 10:53 PM

Like I said, I do not know. You'll have to continue asking them. It's very possible that they designed it.

radarhunter 09-21-2006 01:00 AM

Yarub O, Master Designer help me then

only thy can help me, if thy creates the hack then it would be a very big help to me.

They are not ready to reveal their secrets :(

evenmonkeys 09-21-2006 04:30 AM

I am merely a master designer because so many people enjoy the Kirsch style. I am not fluent with creating cosmetic modifications. If they won't give it to you, you can try requesting for the modification in the Request forum here at vBulletin.org.

Mevo 09-25-2006 07:54 PM

Thank you m8...Nice one :)

desertfoxmb 09-29-2006 06:18 AM

Installed.. great work!

Endurer 09-30-2006 02:42 AM

Is it compatible with 3.6.1?

evenmonkeys 09-30-2006 02:06 PM

As far as I've seen, it works perfectly fine with 3.6.1. I will make a solid version of Kirsch for it when I have a good amount of time to do it. I've been really busy as of late.

Endurer 09-30-2006 03:58 PM

Thank you Yarub, I greatly appreciate your time and efforts. It's a lovely theme and I look forward to the 3.6.1 version.

Regards
