Do you think you'll include the Referral Box tomorrow?

I usually have referral contests going on so it'd only be fair to the advertisers if I have that box right there. Let me know.

You can add this yourself, this is quick register and I have added the mininum number of fields to make it quick.

I've downloaded it again it it's not there now. :confused:

Installed 'Quick Register' Then Decided To Remove It, Now I Cant stay logged in using Internet Explorer some users can stay logged in if the don't refresh, Firefox seems unaffected, Does anyone know what the problem could be please?

edit: i have now reinstalled this, but i am still having problems with logging in using IE? Please Advise.... :)

Sounds like cookie problems, clear your cookies and try again.

This is a fantastic plugin and does help registrations a lot (I have a supplementry nag message to turn registerees into posters).

Problem: It doesn't check the settings here: ( admincp/options.php?do=options&dogroup=register ) to see if under 13s are disallowed. Meaning I can put the dob as 2002 and it will allow registration.

Is there any plan to adapt his for vB 3.6 ? (please :D )
It currently screws up a little with the image verification with vB 3.6.0 b4

it just seems so .. it always asks for image verification even if turned off in quickregister and if you turn it on, it displays default picture ..

I was having the same problem - it kept showing "vbulletin" every time. I got it working though.

I fixed it by going to:
AdminCP --> VBulletin Options --> Image Settings --> GD Version
and then selecting a GD Version (it did say "none" on my forum).

After upgrading to 3.6RC2 it is no longer working for me either.

The HTML in your quickregister template is not XHTML 1.0 Transitional

Something you might want to consider when you update it, there's quite a few errors in there.

Several of them result from inproper use of <br> instead of <br />

I'm working on it right now, if I do fix it I'll post it.

Help! Anyone have the GD image verification working with 3.6RC? I still get that dreaded "vbulletin" image instead of a random image for verification.

You're not supposed to import it. Sorry if I wasn't clear

After you install the plugin edition listed at the top of this post, you need to find the "quick_register" template when you click on "Edit Template" (for whichever template), and then replace the code in that template with what I pasted above :)

please say its working with 3.6.0! When i had this running it increased the registration rates by 1000%

Hey i had a quick question, i put this into my standard_error template and I couldn't call it at first (because of some variable issue). I was told to use $GLOBAL[quickregister] which worked.

however, when you fill in the fields and then hit submit, it takes you to a completely blank login.php page.

Could anyone help me out as to why this happens?

To get image verification to work on 3.6:

Go to the Plugin Manager & find "Quick Register" (it's in the global_start hook). Click on edit and replace everything with:

wow works fine, great! im one step closer, now i have to edit the template back to what i used to have

I have installed this hack and it was working great, but It is not working properly since I have upgraded to 3.6 full version. Image is not showing up. it says vbulletin all the time...

normal register shows the image just fine...

Hope you can help me out, other wise I have to uninstall which I dont want to cause this is very very useful :(
