This is a left column modification.

The right side version released here is for 3.6.0 only.

peterska2, i'm wondering for this new column, can i insert newsfeeds (ie. feeds from some news site) into it?

You can insert anything into the column. Some items may require modification, and others may require additional plugins, but you can get pretty much anything to work in it. The easiest things are pure html modifications that do not require any plugins, but you should be able to include just about anything.

And seems to work fine, lets my shoutbox stay full width too...;)

Where do you go to edit this? I got it installed but don't see it showing up for me to edit it.

I got it to work on the right side and only for the FORUMDISPLAY. It will not display on the home page, a sub-forum page, or a thread page.

I changed up the hack a little

In the FORUMDISPLAY template, I put a portion of the hack

You can see I split part of the top hack and move it to the bottom hack.

So far so good. I want to target my ads to specific forums and have them rotate.

Once I finish and get approval from management, I will put a live link for all to see. Right now I can only show you an image from my test box.

Will this version work on 3.6.4? I ask because I know that there is a port for the 3.6x version, however that one doesn't have the two separate xml's... one for use above the wol box and one to go down the side of the wol box. I need the first one, which isn't available with 3.6x

when I add this column to my site, home page opening very slow
what should I do?

Using it on 3.7 RC4. Seems to work fine. Thanks!

Same here...any idea on a probable fix? The entire page hangs for like half a second.
