Please help!

gileean 05-15-2006 01:45 PM

OK new question here.

I've been all through the Style and admin stuff but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to make the Character Name, Race, Class, Level, Biography stuff available to be filled in by the users or myself for that matter.

Is there a seperate Mod I need to install or am I missing something in the style that I have not setup? I'd like to get this function enabled as soon as possible especially since this will complete my entire Forums.

Btw the page you mentioned does not exist.

Now i definately remember it looks exactly like the skin they had on that site. For some reason the site is down maybe they died or something. But i remember the skin was exactly like that with the parchement and the metal border bits.

Wait their site is back up -

i dont suppose you could explain ?? It could just be that they are incredibly similar or something ??? i doubt it though.

ive just thought about it a little more and, did u get those images from a fan pack or something ? That might explain a lot

Athalas 05-17-2006 04:35 PM

I don't like that huuuge gap at the top with the 'Register here links. :confused:

Maybe you should move them to the Welcome Block module?

firest4rter 05-21-2006 11:38 AM

Thanks all for some great work on this style, has anyone else noticed that the locked thread botton is missing from the english buttons? I would love it if the person that created these could open the template back up and punch out a locked button for us.

And Again, great work all.

oninuva 05-21-2006 11:43 AM

I think it's just a subforum, and the sub forum gets a relevant theme. The rabbit part is just the name of the group :)

bump, I am having the same issue. The text is tied to the smallfont css, so you can change that and make it lighter but then it screws up the black smallfont text in the light areas. I can't figure out how to fix this...anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

In AdminCP - Styles & Templates - Style Manager - Your Style Options add the following to 'Additional CSS Values' near the bottom.

Code:

.moduletitle { font-colour: #FFB019; font-size: 11px; }
Then open up the AdminCP - Styles & Templates - Style Manager - Your Style - << >> - vBadvanced CMPS Templates

In 'adv_portal_navigationbits':

Find
Code:

<div class="smallfont">
Replace with
Code:

<div class="moduletitle">
And if yours was the same as mine, the text in the online users box saying for example; '3 members, 0 guests' will be too dark aswell. If it is;

In 'adv_portal_onlineusers'

Find
Code:

<td class="thead"><span class="smallfont">
Replace with
Code:

<td class="thead"><span class="moduletitle">
Took me a while to figure out, hope this helps.

You can check out how this looks before you do anything on my site. And ofc you can change the font colour value if you want it different.

Louth.

Hello everyone,

It seems I've received some questions about my version of this style (I'm Thaddeus). When I made it, it was heavily modified in order to suit my forums. The character name / class, etc, are just custom profile fields.

Regards,

Ken

louth 05-31-2006 03:05 PM

It would have been a helluva lot easier if you left a contact !

Kenyon 05-31-2006 10:15 PM

Apologies. Thaddeus was just a temporary account: I didn't expect my version of the style to become popular and cause so many questions (and problems). I never intended to support it. I'll try and keep a watch on this thread, though.

danbc 06-01-2006 05:33 PM

No worries Kenyon :)

And great job on the style btw ;)

Rainingman 06-14-2006 06:36 AM

Thanks for this great style.

Does anyone was testing this in 3.6 beta? Is there something to do?

Thank you!

jacks0_0 07-14-2006 12:36 PM

Who can make button Thank for this Skin ?

jacks0_0 07-15-2006 12:24 PM

who can ?

and1player38 07-19-2006 04:52 PM

I am using version 3.5.4 when I install the template I get an error stating the template is for 3.5.3. I made it ignore versions for the install; however none of the images are showing up...

and1player38 07-19-2006 05:33 PM

nvm fixed

Maddogz420 07-25-2006 11:43 PM

Can you explain how you fixed the missing images problem? I'm having the same problem and I've just about tried everything...

For some reason can't even navigate into the /templates/ folder or any other folder i move the /wow/ directory into...

hey there. Great job on this. =) however....how do I make those custom profile fields go away? i deleted them in the control panel and then created my own...but they won't go away! lol. If you go to edit your own profile, the "name, class, etc" options are no longer there...the fields I want are there. However, when you view the actual profile after saving it....it reverts back to your customer fields. Please help me get rid of those. Thanks! =)

s3xt0y 07-26-2006 04:51 AM

installed good nice clean style thanks.
