For those having an issue with Deleting PM's, edit the pm_showpm template, and move the QuickClip edit below the </form> tag at the bottom of that template.

I will write proper instructions tomorrow, as well as look into this Advanced Editing bug.

I really only use it for changing post dates and post authors which still seems to work fine on editpost.php. I imagine these hooks have somthing to do with if you are limiting editing options based on groups which I do not use it for at this time.

But the delete PM issue above has me disabling this for now.

Great hack but.... If QuickClip was based on JavaScript, and worked somewhat like BBCODE, it would be much easier to integrate into any textarea :)) Or, it could also work like "quote message in reply", but in your case it'd be "put the following quickclip in reply".

I've noticed that everytime I use this feature, I am automatically subscribed to that thread. Is there a way to stop this automatic subscription?

I'm experiencing the same issue as Tulsa. Is there any way to prevent the subscription when replying to a thread using quickclips?

edit I got this error when trying to go to the usercp after installing this, and everything was done correctly.


i think the problem is with my host, the files are in there but i just uploaded a picture and when i go to view it, it doesnt show, but its there. I'll contact my host and find out whats going on, as i think this is a problem with my host.

In the User CP, the messages, etc., are now forced down to below the usercp menu on the left. In other words, there is a huge blank space where there shouldn't be.

I was deleting a private message today and instead of deleting the message, it sent a quick clip to me. Now quick clip box is underneath the delete option in the private message area but I did this three times to make sure I didn't accidentially hit it by mistake.

Any ideas?

When I reply to a thread using the quick reply box (but don't use Quick Clip) The Alt-S shortcut doesn't work?

If I mouse click the Submit Quick Reply it works, but hitting Alt + S it doesn't.

Anyone else have this or know how to fix it?

I am using vB 3.5.4 and found a small bug in the QuickClip Product.

If you quick reply on a thread the signature will not be shown anymore.

This hack is in development still, it's just still quite low down on my todo list :)

The only bugs I know of at the moment, are:

1) Bug affecting non-english forums
2) Documentation bug - to fix this, in the install instructions for the PM template bit, where it says "Add above </form>" - add it below instead. There is a post a few pages back saying this.

I'll try and update the hack tonight if I can.
