I still don't understand what the Plugin should do, sorry.

The PlugIn will be for the Quick Reply/Edit,,

So it will use its own code ... not the AJAX

So in fact you want to disable AJAX on Showthread?

Then use the attached Plugin.

But I still think you should fix the Problem, instead of working around it by disabling features.

Thank u Mr. Andreas...

But i want to DISABLE AJAX and have a new code for quick edit/reply....
hope u r understanding me

You can disable AJAX in the AdminCP and use the legacy edits and replys.

CBE 08-03-2005 07:49 AM

but how i will have the Quick Reply...
i want it to be active in my site >>>>> but it is not working with the AJAX

Biker_GA 08-03-2005 07:54 AM

You'll still have quick reply, just not via AJAX.

You obviously have something turned off that AJAX needs to work properly. To turn AJAX off for quick edits and use the legacy quick edit go to:

AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Message Posting and Editing Options -> Quick Edit

Set that to No and you will revert to the 3.0x style of Quick Edit.

how could i have the quick reply without AJAX !!!!!!!

i tried it .... but not done...
the quick edit is solved by " disable AJAX "

Still the quick reply

And this I don't understand

@Biker_CA
Hmm, you can disable Quick Edit, but I least I haven't found an option to disable AJAX for Quick Reply in ACP?

Stupid question time...

Has he tried to refresh his browser already? Maybe he's got the old javascripts saved...

I know several of my goobs had to refresh when they logged onto the test site due to them.

Prolly already tried it, but figured it couldn't hurt to mention ;)
