Ok so there are some mistakes in the vB agreement...

forumhome_moderator is just 1 single line wich displays an adminname, a comma and a link to it's profile.

A possibility to replace this would be with a dropdownlist code (wich is totally different from the normal template.)


Look, it are just examples but this little fact of the agreement is just wrong...

Sorry, we had this rule at vBT too. There's nothing wrong if you put the whole template for replacing in a template mod, because that's necessary. However, distributing whole templates for other purposes is not allowed. It's just the way it is with the license agreement. I know, it seems unfair, but we can't break what the licence agreement says. (This is the impression I was under...)

Parts of templates can be made available if they have to be replaced or edited. If a whole template has to be replaced, I'd advise to just say "replace the content of the template FORUMHOME with:".

What you were asking for goes under other purposes, so giving you the template data isn't allowed.


I also don't think it's such a big deal. We stated that we couldn't give you the template data, because of the license agreement and we offered you alternatives to get to that data in an uncomplicated way.
