Hey,

Yes, I agree that macs are overpriced. If they were cheaper, I certainly would buy one.

Don't forget that, besides graphics, mac also is the most used computer in todays audio/music studios. I think they aim for this particular group of pro users, and therefor can keep their prices high. Believe me, a pro studio or gfx user doesnt mind paying a bit more for a mac.

Mac users should fight for themselves and make a site, where all the non-Mac programmers could read what are the most common problems and things to know about iMac browsers & all the other little things.

Anyway, getting back on topic, vBT looks pretty much perfect in Safari. It's like saying Windows makes sites look good. There are six different browsers I can name for OS X right off the top of my head: Safari, Chimera, Mozilla, NS, IE, and AOL.

Also ATM there's no graphics software that can compete with Photoshop. Also Orfejs_there are already tons of Mac sites if you had bothered to use Google. RealBASIC is incredibly popular for OS X programming and Apple documents their APIs for OS X. Apple's market share has been rising again, albeit 2.9% to 3.0% but 0.000001% of that was with my iBook and another sliver will be from when I buy my G4 tower in a year or two when my P3-933 is finally dead. I don't like what's down the road for Windows with all their BS media rights protection, Linux is still only suitable for servers and nerds who are scared of girls, and until OS X runs on x86 there's no way I'm going to build or buy another PC.
