Personally, I wouldn't be able to look at a design if I had ripped it from someone else. The thought that I don't have an ounce of originality would be very uncomfortable for me... but you're OK with it, so more power to you.

And it doesn't matter if it's just 2 pixels, a rip is a rip, and unoriginality is unoriginality.

I agree that originality is a necessity on a forum. Just going and taking others ideas brings it down. If you want it like everyone elses that fine but it won't stand out from the crowd.

If I made the buttons,then I wouldn't care if you ripped them. Doesnt look like they are that hard to make,looks like a job of 5mins tops.

Now if it was something that tooks me days and months then yes i WOULD care,but not over a lil ole button. And yes i know Xelation is a well know artist,and should be respected and whatnot,but if he freaks out over a little button then,something is wrong :P Just my 2 cents.
And if the button job is alot harder than i said,PLEASE correct me.

Originality? I just went to your website and I see this lime green dashed line... Abulada Monano used that in 1989, you're not being original. You see what I mean? It makes no sense, it's a technique used in Photoshop, Corey isn't the originator and with a program like photoshop you can do things in more than one most of the time.

I respect what Corey does and a lot of the other skinners for vB, although I do not agree with just picking up buttons and taking them, but telling someone that they can't use a certain technique because someone else did is stupid.

That's like telling SaintDog he can't use gradients or a 3d flower as the symbol for vBT because some hippy did in 1960's.

I think I've proven my point.

And really, I don't mean to sound like I an arse, I just wanted to prove a point. :)

Your sounding like one, because you went as low as personally attacking a forum for your point. At what point did I say I was original? I didn't, and never will as a matter of fact.

So next time before you go accusing a forum of something think that they will think in return.
