Right this hack is wonderful apart from one thing:

- the files cannot be stored in the database

I would prefer if the files could be stored in the database or alternatively you can post it as a text with all the vbcode stuff like [php] or [b] tags

So basically you have one screen when you click "Submit a file" where it asks you whether your tutorial is a file or it is a description where you can use vbcode :) - or both of course :D

If the files can be stored in the database on this and you have the option to post a vbcode based tutorial or a file or both - then i'll make a go at installing this hack :)

Thats what its lacking currently IMO

i will try to store files at db ... firstly i have to get the idea of vb file storing ..

anyway i dont get what u mean via file submission screen ..
you will enter details and admins approve it via admin cp ..

i planned like :
users enter all details to " additional information " space .. which is hack's common custom info .. and admin take infos from there to put other custom fields ..

for ex: you come and put infos like ; filename : mist creator : erdem bla bla and to additional info : filesize : 1 mb date coded : today bla bla
and then i view it ... get infos like filesize , if i added this to db as a new custom field , i will add this info for that file and approve it ..

a little complex but ermmm ...
