Also it seems as if in the file "edit" feature of admin CP that it has the submitter and the thread mixed up.

Also upon editting a file it submits a new thread instead of editing the previous, seems well not right?

allright ...
you have to access filesadmin.php from your admin panel ... than click install if you didnt installed yet .. but i think first uninstall , if you installed it b4 , than choose install.
after that add files cats and so ..

I still receice a login prompt when visiting files.php while logged in if I have no files in the file area yet.

And files uploaded through files.php when approved only give the following as a link

http://www.limpkinw.com/forum/files.php?action=viewfile&f=

Missing the file number at the end.

this is a error msg man :)
it covers all the errors in one message window :)
you have to have atleast one file or cat to view that category ..

I really am not trying to be a pain I just want this to work :)

The following screenshot is what appears when I approve a file trough moderate.

Notice how the thread has no "thread starter" and "last post by" is blank.

I am not sure this is an error, just asking is this right?

allright progy still have permission errors ..
i mean i can view the cat archive :)

download new zip file ...
i think u have old one ..

I think I have the latest version I will retry the download. I think this will be one of the best hacks for me personally as my forum was originally developed for distribution of programs.

uhmm there is a naughty permission error ..and this makes me sick!
anyway the admin panel should be fixed ..
i will re-re-recheck again ..

nope you are right after some couple of tests i figured out the errors ..
pls wait for beta 3 ..
uhh i made real bad mistake :(
anyway i hope it will be done soon ..
